      This was right after

124 strikes in less than 3 minutes before getting KOd. Could have easily been 140+ by the end of the round.

This is just how everyone I play against plays. They come forward and throw strikes non stop. It's like every single fight for me, so when you are saying you are having slower fights, I just am not experiencing that. No one wants to have a technical fight. I feel like there is no incentive to have a patient technical fight, so people just go all out.

We're also on different consoles, meaning different people. I'm on Xbox you're on PS4, but in general people are gonna play how they wanna play. I like to play technical, that's just my style and if someone wants to be aggressive I'll make them pay. I'll either counter, body shot them, gas them out by making them miss or take them down. I wish stamina was more taxing and there was more vulnerability and damage in general, but we'll see what happens in the next patches. I stand with what I said that accelerated clock feels amazing, but TO ME. Everyone has their own experience so just clarifying, I mean I'd add you to have some technical fights, but I only have it on Xbox. Maybe I'll get it for the Pro after some patches to have it on both.

You missed a lot of free head kick whiff knockdowns, if you cant capitalize on things like that then i doubt you ever faced a top player. Any top 150 guy i know would have put those guys out in a round. None of those guys understood momentum and had terrible rhythm. You can try to be cute and pretend you’re some counter fighter, but there is a specific meta to counter fighting, it takes a lot of skill to be good at it and if you fought good players you would have a rude awakening and not have made this thread.

The reality is that this game still favors pressure boxing mixed with wrestling, you just haven’t faced what’s actually considered good yet to see how big the skill gap will be.

The striking on xbox has been known to be worse than ps4 too.

Just chiming in to lmao at the striking being worse on Xbox. Xbox is THE meta zone for strikers. Slip hook and pull counter merchants abound. Xbox developed the meta. Jamie, Dabiken, Pry, Dyno, Combo, Peyton along with others (and me) are better strikers than most of the PS4 top tier. Romero, GOAT, Papadoc, Zyaf, and EdParker are some of the only ones I'd put up against those listed. PS4 has a lot of the top grapplers though.

In general, PS4's mid-low tier players are absolutely awful compared to Xbox, but they have more top level talent in comparison.

But, one of your overall points is correct, there are levels and this person is not super experienced. Nothing shameful about that, but many people don't know how deep the skill gap is until they play one of the best. Accelerated clock is the better way to play regarding stamina, however. In real time, you have more opportunities to eat pressure shots and you lose less stamina as a whole.

P.S. I respect the leg kicks. I can give you a few pointers on how to land them more safely and effectively should you be interested.

I'd like to spar some time, if cool man. I'm actually playing Ranked finally currently 15-2 or 17-2 not sure but my only 2 losses so far came from me using Moreno against Dillashaw, lost to a decision and the second was a DDoser... but yeah let me know.
