I don't understand why Standing Guillotine is still a problem

You have top ten guys shooting for takedowns to push you against the cage, secure an undeniable guillotine and spin you around like you have no sense of weight until your stamina dips to zero and you're out.

Can we just take out the stamina drain? It makes no sense that it works this way and no other submission.

Do i just need to get gud

The spinning stamina drain is nonsense for sure, but you can get out from it by holding LS away from which you are spinning. It's hard to put in words. You mentioned "undeniable". That's not true, RT denies the headlock attempt.

I held rt against the cage and still got locked.
He was then able to spin me around
T4h rayhain or whatever is doing this.

Also, it can come out of nowhere since there are so many setups. Failed tds, plum clinch knees, standing up and pressed against cage.

If they plan to spin you hold up on the left stick its an instant break. Otherwise just hold rt.

Thank you, i’ll give this a shot. Does this work regardless of the direction of the spin?

It’s realistic bro. Didn’t you see Jones vs Machida? Git gud, casual.

I don’t know why fighters don’t just walk up and freely grab the back of everybody’s head then just knee tf out of them nonstop or put them in a standing guillotine in real life. Terrible fight IQ just making it so much harder for themselves. Oliveira would be undefeated if he just did that.

Exactly. Didn’t they see Leben vs Silva? I didn’t actually watch it but I read about it on wikipedia and I heard silva like landed knees and stuff. It’s so easy to do in real life, it’s so realistic. Not sure why people complain about it.

Hold on I’m finishing watching a Conor Ugregor fight. Okay it’s done. Anyways

Yeah this game has the grappling just right. No one wants to have immersive battles in grappling anyways, that’s so boring bro! Lol just use striking instead it’s much more fun and action packed dude bro! Hang on I’m listening to intensely low IQ rap music, let me finish this song. OK it’s over so anyways yeah bruh let’s just accept that standing instant guillotines are totally fine. Just get good noobs hahaha

I correct myself, this does work. Still, its annoying how some players have designed entire styles to maximize cheese. Just fought a guy who would wait by the cage, do anything to slip a shot to get a clinch and immediately turn me around to cage clinch, grab my back and 50/50.

It doesn't make sense that the backtake is undeniable, it also doesn't make sense that someone can just drag me like that.

Lol. As I mentioned earlier, when they spin you, you need to hold LS back and the direction they are spinning you. So either back and up, or back and down. If they start alternating directions, you need to alternate with them as best you can in hopes it breaks before being completing gassed and against the cage. Also, holding RT doesn't matter. I think Grandbyroll probably pulled off the initial headlock denial by hopping on RT early enough and mistakenly thought he was breaking out afterwards.

The fact that this sentence exists, and is actually accurate advice, shows there’s a problem.

EA. Hire me. You don’t have to pay me a dime for the first month - just pay for my flight up and help me find somewhere to stay. If my ideas suck, and I’m not helpful, fire me and send me home. If my ideas work, hire me. I’ll leave this offer on the table indefinitely.

I also do not understand why the standing guillotine is still a problem, same for the back-sitting rear naked choke which is near impossible to get out of even with full stamina
