    Patch This Week? (UFC 262)

Wonder if we're getting a patch this week?

Gotta think if we do it'll be close to one of the last ones. I doubt we'll get much these days as the focus is shifting to UFC 5.

Hoping for some strawweight DLC. I'd love some combo of Islam Makhachev, Dan Ige and/or Marina Rodriguez/Xiaonan Yan/Amanda Ribas.

I also doubt they could turn it around this fast (or even think to do it) but allowing all fighters access to the champ shorts would be a big win for the offline Universe Mode crowd.

I want Islam and Ribas. Ankavaev would be good too.

Apparently subs are being addressed in this patch. A nerf to some chokes. I think devs should make it harder to transition to back sitting or side saddle than nerfing the nerf sub it self. Getting out is fine they both have fast transitions out. Treat them like how the back flat RNC and position are. Keep the positions as it is for specialists. Buff the weaker joint and choke subs in general.

The get out of cage clinch from knees should be timed instead of holding imo. Cage control should be way longer at least for specialists. Holding it to muffle damage would be better.

Please increase perks and stats value. Being consequential adds uniqueness too. I think making diving strikes finish fights would be fun. Same with upkicks for stuns and finishes.

Would be awesome to see manual GNP transitions back including posturung top back down. No undeniable transitions except for FTF, make them like the new chain positions in UFC 4- backsitting to backside. The sweeps from slips and posting should be manual too, using a modifier for a stamina cost.

I hope they finally fix AI submissions. They can't attack with choke submissions at all, even on legendary, and BJJ AI's will waste all their stamina spamming them anyway.

But offline's basically been ignored since launch, so I'm not expecting anything.

What are you talking about offline is what has got better since launch and plays better than any previous game, stop spilling false truths.

Career mode's full of ****ing bugs that have been reported since launch and haven't been fixed.

It's been months since a patch touched anything in any offline mode. I think the devs forget there's other modes in the game besides online ranked.

Gameplay patches are obviously offline too. It's true they haven't touched career, but I'd be surprised they'd do it now. At this point I'd rather have them work on the next game's career.

Also true that AI's subs are not really on point. In career I never go above 3 stars. The sparring partners seem better at defending those, but the real ones get subbed in an instant. It highlights the ***-backwards approach where the actual fights feel like a breeze, and my heart is pounding every time I click the sparring event.
