    Features to add from ESBC

ESBC is still in alpha but it's already one of the best looking fighting games I've seen. Looks really fun for casuals.

On top of that, it's got so many treats in there for everyone. From the heartbeat stamina system to fighter uniqueness, it's got so much meat to it too for the hardcores.

UFC 5 needs to borrow a lot from ESBC. Here's some of the top of my head:

    Heartbeat stamina system
    Fighter uniqueness
    Real inside fighting
    Power modifier
    Stance variety
    Punch variety
    No mini games
    Stats mean more
    Deep roster
    Sim and casual toggles
    Life like animations

So much stuff this community has been asking for they are delivering on their first attempt. I really hope this game succeeds and forces EA to step up for UFC 5.

ESBC is definitely about to set a bar. Nothing to add here, every single facet of UFC will have to be upgraded to compete.

I doubt EA looks at it as competition. I love how ESBC is looking but unless they both release around the same time, both games will likely co-exist fine.

I didn't think about it in that way. Definitely makes sense!

i dont really see how that can be possible, most UFC fans are also fans of boxing and vice versa, especially in the gaming world, and if one game is far superior then the other i cant see ppl sticking around to play the lesser game when the better game is higher quality and generating more hype.

Thats not true at all. Some but not most. ****, on the GC team we have 10 people and maybe 2 (including me) are big boxing fans. Thats besides the point anyway.

Lets say ESBC comes out in June and UFC 5 comes out in December and ESBC is clearly the higher quality game. I'm a fan of both boxing and MMA so I buy ESBC in June....why would that keep me from buying UFC 5 in December?

It isnt a money issue because the games are released 6 mos apart. ESBC isnt going to scratch my MMA gaming itch because its a boxing game. Its like saying that a soccer and hockey game are competing with each other because both games have goals and goalkeepers.

If you only like boxing, you arent likely to buy a MMA game no matter how good it is and vice versa. As for playing time, its amazing to me that OSers havent realized after 4 versions of this game that play time doesnt really matter that much. They care more about the initial sales and initial revenue than if you are playing the game 6 mos from now.
