    UFC 5 Fighter Customization/CAF Wishlist

    Fighter Customization:
-Allow any fighter to select any color shorts (regardless of country)
-Allow any fighter to select champion shorts (add the newer non-black champion gear/ interim champion gear)

    CAF System:
    -Give us 100 slots
-Give us all the assets from real fighters (if I want to put RDA's head with Dustin Poirier's hair on Anderson Silva's body with Conor McGregor' tattoos, I should be able to)
-Allow full customization of stats with...

    Updated Templates for Skills:
    1) Select from a set of skills and attributes that then correspond to stat levels that automatically tune based on your selection

    2) You get skills like "BJJ," "Kickboxing," "Wrestling," "Muay Thai," etc.

    3) You get three slots labeled "Priority 1/2/3"

    4) If you want a more balanced fighter, you'd select three different skills (P1 kickboxing, P2 wrestling, and P2 BJJ).
-If you wanted to be an extreme specialist, you could put wrestling in all three categories and it would max out those stats while leaving significantly reduced stats in stand up.

Not only does this give you a stat mix, it would set the fighting style for your fighter.

    5) Select from attributes categories such as "Power," "Cardio," "Timing," etc.

    6) You get the same three slots (P1/P2/P3). Again, you want Ngannou power, put "Power" in all three slots but you're going to have terrible cardio and accuracy.

    Few examples:
-Khabib would be a "P1: Wrestling, P2: Wrestling, P3: Sambo" with "P1: Skill, P2: Cardio, P3: Cardio." I'd argue he's got wrestling for days blended with sambo, he's got great skills in this areas to finish (submissions) and he's got great cardio.
-Colby Covington: "P1: Wrestling, P2: Wrestling, P3: Boxing" with "P1: Cardio, P2: Cardio, P3: Cardio." I'd argue he's got great wrestling and decent boxing, but doesn't have finishing abilities (skill/power) but won't get tired.
-Glover Teixeira: "P1: Wrestling, P2: BJJ, P3: Boxing" with "P1: Skills, P2: Power, P3: Cardio." At this point, Teixeira wants to take you down and use ground and pound or submissions to finish you on the ground. He's got the skills and power to do it as a first priority, but is also a good boxer whose power translates on feet. I wouldn't give him great cardio, but he's not a gasser either.

The goal here is to get more unique stat mixes than what the current templates allow, while retaining the speed of creating a fighter by inputting a basic set of priorities in skills and attributes you want prioritized for you fighter.

By limiting the number of slots for skills and attributes, you can keep it more realistic and not allow for super CAFs online, but leave full stat editing available for offline use.

Although I no longer expect much from EA Sport, too many disappointments, I agree with everything you put, I would like a lot more CAF, at least 100 and even many more (200, 300,400, 500) that 22 is a very insignificant number, not to say ridiculous.

Being able to edit from the CAF all their abilities,

Leave at least 3 clothing slots for CAF kits.

Another very important thing for me, when saving the CAF fighters, that they are independent of each other, so I can create a large store of fighters in an external memory, and change them for others that are in the game without being deleted. the rest of the fighters, that way it would not be so problematic for me that the number of CAF is not so high, since we could change the fighter since the ranudas are independent of each other.

When we got the UFC 5 promotional video
The game is basically 90% developed
No amount of PATCH can change much of anything
From before to now they are mostly going their own way

This system would definitely be an improvement from what we have in UFC 4, but it's still LEAGUES behind actually being able to set individual stats.

The only reason not to give us full control is the online aspect of CAFs. But the solution is simple: allow us to set stats to whatever we want when creating a fighter, but if you use that fighter online, then the game should use a backup system such as what you just pitched/what UFC 4 already has. But this should be an online-only thing.

My ideal solution would actually be if when making your fighter, the game said something like "Here are 100 points to assign to your stats. You can use more than 100 (up to an infinite amount) but if you do use more than 100, then your fighter cannot be used online." The same goes for move levels etc. Even better would be if we could still use those fighters online, except we have to choose one of the archetypes (like you do now) to use a fighter that has been assigned too many points.

Offline players should not be punished and limited when playing the game simply because some people try to use overpowered CAFs online. I think this is a reasonable compromise.

I wasn't clear enough, but that's what I was going for with the last sentence.

Totally agree with you, it's a very good idea that after a certain number you can't play with that CAF online, but that's not a requirement in offline mode at all

And the singlet. And more options for the earpiece hair set. I might have a joke career with that. But only if it has animated unicorns on it. Otherwise, what's the point, right?

Minor things: adding records to CAFs and allowing them to fight out of places other than their "hometowns." If I want to make, say, a fighter with a 22-7 record from New York that fights out of Vegas (coming up with random **** here) I should be able to do that.
Also, bring back the Personalities field from UFCs 2 and 3. Literally no reason to remove it. It would be better to go full Undisputed 3 and separate walkout/entering the octagon/announcement/victory scene, but it's EA so I have pretty much no hope in that. This would at least be a start.

As many hairstyles, facial hair styles and body hair styles as possible. Separate the facial hair categories. Add a color wheel, for the love of God.

We're 4 games into the EA era and the CAF mode is arguably worse than it was 10 years ago. Personally - if it ain't WWE 2K level customization, it's not enough.

This is game has to have some type of be a promoter mode or be “Dana white” mode. Create your organization, scout, sign, create amateurs, poach from other organizations, etc. Gives it so much more replay ability.

And please, please get rid of all the goofy create a character options

We are just a few of the player base, but I haven't met a single soul who was excited about the goofy stuff. It's good for a laugh when you encounter it in career, but when you realise every damn AI fighter is a silly goose, it becomes a bit... daunting.

As for your other suggestion: I personally loved the WWE SD! vs RAW promotor mode back in the day and was happy with its return in the recent games. But I highly doubt we'd see a mode like that, as it'd only be attractive to you, me, and a handful of others. If you want to play a MMA manager, I suggest WMMA5, though it has no gfx.

Let's start asking for actual customizable CaF's and more face/body options. Then you can move to "dana white mode".

I want enough space to create and keep a legion of CAF created fighters, 300 spaces at least to be able to increase all weight divisions.
