    Fixing online lag

Im on fiber and ethernet cable. Usually have 50+- ms. Still the lag is crazy. Its like fighting in molassis. Any tips on making this better? Will a monitor really help with this issue?

I use a monitor and no, it's still a laggy mess. But I feel the same about all sports game online so I'm probably not the best person to ask

We're investigating an issue where the console's VRR and 120hz settings seem to be causing some users a few seconds of delay on their inputs. You can disable these in the console settings if they aren't already, and that might fix the issue for you until we're able to get a patch out. This has worked for a lot of people reporting this, though not everyone.

I mean, the lag I'm experiencing has nothing to do with delayed button inputs. The game literally goes into slide show mode for two minutes at least one round a fight.

Happy to hear you're looking into it.

For me, it's like I'm playing underwater. Every single input is just mud.

What's more frustrating is that my opponent seems to have ZERO issue and is just hauling off on me with crazy combos; but I am frozen; it's like a bad dream. lol

I am hardwired on PS5, and I did the above fixes.

I am really hoping this is solved, it literally sucks the life and enjoyment out of this game.
