Graphically Underwhelming

Just started playing the trial and I have to say that the graphics are underwhelming. I can't put my finger on it. I don't know if it's the lighting or what. The blood and cuts look realistic. But, overall, I was expecting it to look better than it does. I find myself saying that a lot with games during this current console generation.

I have to agree.

I bought PS5 just for this game, so it's my first with the console, and I see no wow factor whatsoever when it comes to the graphics.

Because games this generation took a step back graphically to support native 60 FPS @ 4K with the occasional ray tracing activated. Pretty much across the board this is being seen, most noticeable in NBA 2k24 vs 23 last year.

As someone who only plays in 1080 or 1440, I'd love to see the graphics get that step up that would be expected, but I understand why they've taken a back seat with the hype around 60FPS/4K this generation
