On ranked I go all random all the time. I might do 2 or 3 random choices before I choose my guy, but it's always random. I just use the first 30 seconds to figure my guy out and go from there.

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
Ive been very bored so i decided to use Erik Perez for 10 games and i went 7-3 but he sucks so bad. There's only one thing thats good about him and it's that he has the faber machine gun 1-2 spam boost to the body. Its actually really fast and can throw off people when you use him. other then that he sucks, but it was fun to play with him.
Side Note: I like his stance in the game for some reason lol.Comment

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
Past 3-4 months all i've been using is Tyson playing Ranked. Went from div 6 to 8.
Although it started as a joke, of me trying to play him on ranked(since there is less laggy/delayed games than quick match) i ended up becoming a beast with him.
If u wanna become an impenetratable robot in blocking clinch/takedown attempts and surviving the occesional ground, Mike Tyson is where you start. The dude has no stats related to wrestling what so ever, you'll get used to people giving away tells on when they are about to grapple attempt you and you'll get used to instantly countering.
On top of that, i never thought this was even possible with the terrible mechanics of EA UFC 2 striking, but somehow i can pretty much pick any player and start boxxing the livin s**** out of everybody. The techniques i picked up in boxxing with him are insane.
Wether you like it or not, you'll learn to duck and use footwork on top of mixxing up your jabs, straights, hooks, uppercuts in such a way, that you can have a 5 year old midget and still get in range to outbox jon jones serial pickers.
Recently i started playing Mc Gregor in WW division where he is terrible and i've been beating and outboxxing Robbie Lawlers and Neil Magnys with him.
I suggest when you play the game, pick 2 simillar divisions, like LHW and HW, then for example if you wanna become a good boxxer, start playing simillarly styled players on those 2 divisions (Mike Tyson, Anthony Johnson,Velasquez, Dos Antos, Mark Hunt)
When it comes to middleweight and welterweight i play a lot of Condit for striking, GSP for dominating in wrestling and Anderson Silva, since i've picked up so much stuff from ducking all the time with Tyson, that i've gotten pretty good at dogding things with silva as well.
What you don't want to do, is go to a division filled with killers(WW,MW,LHW,HW) and start playing only as the most OP guy of the division such as "Robbie Lawler,Demian Maia for WW" "Chris Weidman, Jackare Souza for MW" "Jon Jones, Cormier, Anthony Johnson for LHW" "Werdum, Velasquez, Jon Jones for HW" and get used to any of those guys.
You will most likely not learn anything from the game or any worthy techniques, since their stats get the job done on their own.
Get out of your comfort zone. Start playing with guys that have poor overall stats and lots of weaknesses and turn their weaknesses to your strength, since you'll always be catching your opponents by suprise when they attempt to take advantage of them, that's when you deal the most damage and you win the mind game from your opponent.
Something really important in EA UFC 2, you'll have to get accustomed to, is footwork. You need to focus on controling the center of the octagon and not constantly moving forward to your opponent, but rather side ways and cutting them off.
When you play against a Jon Jones on Steroids who is spamming kicks all game, relax and stay back instead of pressuring forward, let them miss over and over again and lose their stamina, don't get discouraged when you don't get to land anything in an exchange and you just stare at him as he walks away everytime he wastes 90% of his stamina on kicks and you can't reach him to hit.PSNID: B_A_N_EComment

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
why the hell is OSP so damn slow? He is so awful to use it makes me sad. The only thing he's got that's good is kimura from side control which helps keep those people honest, but damn he is so slow he's almost unplayable against anyone decent.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 05-10-2017, 03:28 PM.Comment

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
And you think it's the only case like that
There are several case like this!
What about Mark Hunt who is so tasteless(a movelist issue), Why the hell Thai fighter(Aldo, Shogun, A.Silva...) dont have the Barboza leg kick?
All of this break the fighter selection and It is in large part of that we see always the same OP fighter in ranked.Comment

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
OSP is very slow! Has a lot of stamina draining moves too and I always struggle later in the fight when using him against anyone half decent.
Been using Jimi Manuwa in Light Heavyweight. The guy's hands are lethal!
Went on my biggest Title Defence of 9 with him.Comment

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
doo ho choi the korean superboy is awesome in this game. His striking and how he feels is so smooth and powerful. His ground game ain't bad and has some key moves (arm triangle side saddle and triangle from full guard). I've been using him alot now as my go to fighter in the FW division. There's really nothing bad i can say about him, he's a blast to play and his character model looks good.
Everytime i use him i get nothing but rocks and it's pretty awesome. He has a simple, but perfect move set for me and a fast inside leg kick. I'm no elite striker, but he makes me feel that way.

I can't even play FW anymore. Literally everyone picks Conor. It's just not fun anymore playing the same guy for the 1000th time.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: Do you use mostly one person or multiple?
When i was maia i was able to tap out fools off my back all day but with khabib i try to go for subs from the top only. It really is so easy to deny a khabib user from top control.
With khabib i usually just throw on the crucifix then drain all there stamina and switch back to the side control kimura for the easy sub win.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 07-27-2017, 04:18 PM.Comment

Khabibing fools is kinda fun. Suplexing ppl with khabib is so easy and fast. The only thing he needs is the crushing presence perk for UFC 3 and this dude will be unstoppable on the ground in the next game. I'm actually shocked he didn't have it for UFC 2 and RDA has crushing presence lvl 5 which is just crazy.Comment
