Maybe it helps if you (and all others having the same issue) would tell
1. Which System (PS4)
2. UT Level (60)
3. OVR ratings, Division and weightclass of fighter (see orig pos)
4. Country/Region (Germany/Hamburg)

EDIT:
Via support Chat I found out that it works on the same PS4 with another PSN account... Weird, as it should be no difference. The only difference here is a UT Level of 0 on the working one.

80-85 in all weightclasses, then tried 65, 70, 80 in middleweight with a new fighter.
4. USA, East Coast.

Creating a new account and starting from UT level 0 doesn't seem like a proper solution.

I fought about 5 WBW fights last night with my OVR 79 who is division 5 --- ended up fighting a couple mid 80s and a 90. About same as usual.

Though I've certainly been matched up with 95+ in WBW in the past....so who knows, maybe it prevented me from being matched up with one of those try-hards lol in that case, I'm happy, but feel bad for those who aren't able to find a match now :/

On Xb1 they tell you to clear your mac address. Do you know how to do that on Ps4?

Hey guys, we're actively investigating the issue where people cannot find matches. We're also exploring to see what matchmaking settings we can default to in the meanwhile until we get the issue resolve, but even that will require a bit of research first before we just do it.

On Xb1 they tell you to clear your mac address. Do you know how to do that on Ps4?

What? A mac address is a unique Id which is kinda built (read branded) into networking hardware. You can not change or "clear" it at all. A System could have the ability to ignore the "real hardware mac" and spoof another one instead (i.e. macchanger on unix systems). As far as I know there is no such mechanism build into the PS4. If I'm honest I see no real use case to change the network mac on an xbox either, but please correct me if I'm wrong

Hey guys, we've temporarily removed the matchmaking based on OVR logic. Long story short, insert technical jargon here, which is why some people weren't able to find opponents.

This was a rare case that didn't get picked up during testing, but we're going to fix that and try to get OVR matchmaking back. Thanks again for your patience!

Damn I liked the OVR matchmaking I had no problems finding a match. Hopefully it comes back soon :P

All I know is, every time I've ever talked to EA support about any connection issues..They instruct me to go to clear mac address on my Xb1. It restarts the console, and is in network settings.

First of all, i love the game! But please bring the matchmaking system back soon as posibble. I`ve been fighting guys 10/20/30 levels higer than me and its taking the fun away. I want to fight people with the same rating and not people way higher than my charachter.

I was fighting people 20 overall lower than me often with the new matchmaking for some reason.

Thats sad Just lost 7 matches in a row against people +-10/20 levels above my charachter I`m taking a break from Ultimate Team for a while.

Got Fifa and Madden Ultimate Team to kill my time

I`ll be back when they fixed the matchmaking system.

Made a brand new fighter last night. 73 OVR. Very first 2 fights up against 85, and 87 OVR.
