Re: The Ultimate Fighter: US Vs UK
Not the best fight, but that was a really good episode. Go Frankie!
*edit*
Damn next week looks awesome. I wonder who fights. Good to see Richie getting on that bum Pierce lol.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 05-27-2009, 10:01 PM.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Fighter: US Vs UK
Terrible fight. Frankie is becoming one of my faves though, because he's a guy that really wants to just fight with all of his heart. Dave on the other hand is the complete opposite, and throws away his biggest opportunity. The conditioning of the UK fighters in the last 2 fights have been pathetic.
Next week's preview sounds really promising. Finally looks like we'll be getting a brawl.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Fighter: US Vs UK
Frankie has to be my favorite of this season. He may not be the best fighter out of the bunch, but he has the heart.
I liked his comment at the end of tonights show: "Good thing I didn't have any teeth this fight, they would've probably been knocked out again"
And what's the deal with Faulkner just giving up after the 2nd round. He was supposed to be Bisping's pride & joy.Comment

I remember reading Tim Creduer's blog during the Rampage/Forrest season and he talked about how hard Forrest was pushing their team. He would have them going all out for 2 straight hours. Then they'd do another hour of cardio after that since they had the late training time and there was nobody there to force them out of the gym. It didn't help. His people gassed just as bad as Rampage's.
It no coincidence that people always look much better during the fights to get into the house and on the finale when they have the proper time to train and cut weight.
As for the last two brits they both also had extra health problems that kept them from training for big chunks of time while on the show. But I don't think either one is that good anyway.Last edited by sven; 05-28-2009, 05:37 AM.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Fighter: US Vs UK
Thoughts on who wins, but it may contain a spoiler...
SpoilerI was watching Dana White's blog and I saw Frank Lester backstage with the fighters and Dana spoke to him. I am thinking Frank wins. I didn't see any other guys from the show back there.Comment

Re: The Ultimate Fighter: US Vs UK
Then of course,no one has actually won yet. The finale is live. So he might be in the finals but there's no winner as of right now.
My favorite part was...
Bisping: "We have faith in our fighter, don't you have any in yours"
Lester:
Hendo: "Well that doesn't have anything to do with it"
Calling him out right in front of his guy.
Something about the preview,if Hendo and Bisping don't want to split the teams up they can just agree to pick their own guys.Comment
