    1. Fedor
    2. Megumi Fujii
    3. Anderson Silva
    4. GSP

Anderson is still my favorite UFC fighter.
I've got Fedor and GSP neck-and-neck. Fedor's got the longer resume, but one could argue his last notable win was against Mirko almost four years ago. Quick wins over Sylvia and Arlovski were nice, but each of those guys were a couple years past their prime.

Meanwhile, since Fedor beat Mirko, GSP has gone through a who's who of the welterweight division. Dominated Sherk, Penn once, Hughes twice, Koscheck, and Fitch, and put up some impressive wins over guys like Trigg, Serra, and Parisyan, second-tier guys Fedor has been living off of these last three years or so.

GSP does have those two blemishes, though. I tend to discount the loss to Serra, because that was a fluky hook that caught St. Pierre on the back of his head as he went for a takedown. The armbar is more notable, but considering St. Pierre was winning that fight until that point, and has since cleanly dominated Hughes twice, I don't think it detracts too much.

If GSP puts up another impressive win over Alves, I think that's what'll put him ahead of Fedor in my mind.

How can you say that Arlovski and Timmay were past their primes? Arlovski was riding a 5-fight win streak before get KTFO by Fedor and Timmay lost to Randy and Nog prior to Fedor - not exactly slouches.

People can scream Fedor P4P all they want, I'm still not buying the heavyweight division. The level of competition is not up to par.

That five-fight win streak of Arlovski's came against Roy Nelson, Ben Rothwell, Jake O'Brien, Fabricio Werdum, and Marcio Cruz. The only notable name in that crowd is Werdum, and Arlovski's win over him was a lackluster decision.

And yeah, Sylvia's losses to Big Nog and Couture aren't terrible (although Sylvia was never once in that 25-minute fight with Couture), but look at his recent wins: lackluster decisions against Arlovski, Jeff Monson, and Brandon Vera.

Over the last three years, three bad wins over good, but not great, competition, and two losses (including one terrible one) to great competition, doesn't make for much more than a gatekeeper at this point.
