I think all sports games need spectator mode. It would be especially sweet in Undisputed.
I think it would also be cool if they included some sort of 2K share-like feature where you could uploaded created fighters and clips from your fights. For a first attempt at MMA, THQ really knocked this out of the park. It's going to be awesome to see how they improve thes series from this point on.Comment

Games like Undisputed and Fight Night would be awesome with a spectator mode. In general, I've always felt sports games should include the feature, but you have to consider the possible lag isuses with this. Heck, sometimes getting a smooth online experience in sports game is hard enough with just two players. As much as I want it, I'd want to make sure it was done right and with the least lag possible.Comment

I think it would be cool if you could set up a reasonable number of fights (maybe 5) as a UFC Event, and have players watch each bout until their turn... So it would kind of be like a PPV, and all the players involved in the match would be able to see how the other matches went, instead of having to just hear about it, or hope someone recorded it.Comment

I've been waiting for a sports game to have spectator mode since BEFORE the 360 ever came out and so far nada. I already stated why I think it hasn't come out yet. Since it's built in for the 360 and NOT for the PS3 that's the reason why we don't get it. Since most of these games are ported from one since to the other they don't like to use features that one console has that the other doesn't. So even though the 360 supposedly can easily do it the PS3 requires some work for it to be done. If it can be done at all so thats why it's been a no-go so far.Comment

Yeah great idea I was thinking about a Create-a-PPV or Create a Card mode. Would be fun to just be able to play 5 fights in a row with different fighters without having to go to the menu every time.
Also, you could have awards like Fight of the Night, KO of the Night, stuff like that.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Bottom line that would create hell a lag. You ever go into a chat room and have 30 people looking at one web cam ? That is hell of lag.
So just imagine having a 100 or more people trying to watch the same damn fight. That would be too much lag, considering everybody don't have the same broadband speed.Comment

It works just fine in DOA 4 and PGR (DOA 4's actual online play,now that's a different story...). Even silver members get to view it in PGR,used to anyway,I haven't checked in a while.Comment

Yeah but those 2 games don't have the same kind of crowds this game would have. In theory it would be an excellent idea to set up PPV's and let people watch. But the only way it would work is if they set a cut off limit on how many people can watch at a time.
The downside to that though is people would be hogging all the good player cards and people would be forced to watch people who don't know how to play the game that good cards.Comment
