    Hosting New UFC Fantasy League

I am acting as a fantasy event organizer for the UFC on Xbox 360.

    Rules

Post your gamertag and send an invite to joshopsu on Xbox Live. Also in this forum please list the weight classes that you want to participate in. If you want to get in all five, that’s great. You are welcome to take part in each weight class, as long as we have roster spots available.

Each draft pick for each weight class will take place over the course of 24 hours, or less. If someone misses their pick, they will simply move down to the next pick (such as the NFL draft does). I want to start the draft in the next few days. I will assign draft picks for each weight class, based on random numbers (from a calculator)

As far as assigning fights, we will start with the current champions. All results must be displayed on the OS forum. Once I display the first week’s fights, I would LIKE everyone to work out a mutual schedule to fight at your own times. Then just post the result on the forum. But I may have to stretch it out to two weeks just so everyone gets ample time to complete their fights. Every two weeks or so, I will post my official rankings according to each weight class, along with their gamertags. Then I will set up the next championship fights and other lower card fights. Records do mean a lot in determining if you will fight in a championship. So do whatever you can to win! You can always try to sway my vote in the rankings to plead your case for a championship match.

Note that some fighters I have listed under two weight classes. These are the interchangeable fighters. So, if you don’t have a good draft pick in one weight class and can’t pick up Anderson Silva at MW, you may be able to pick him up at LH.

It’s never too late to sign up. You are even welcome to sign and get a fighter after the game comes out.

Some people in other threads seem to be worried that it's too early to choose a fighter. Don't worry about it. I just want to collect gamertags and make a draft for fighters. If you don't like your fighter when the game comes out, you can always request a fighter that is still available in that weight class. Trust me, people. I'm a good, responsible manager and this league will be great.

        GT: Dead SA1NT

never too soon. I think this game will be sick on LIVE. SO many fighters to choose from that i doubt you will see too many of the same ones used Over and over.

Cannot wait til 5/19. pre-Ordered yesterday after spending a silly amount of time on the Demo (most time i ever played/enjoyed a demo ever btw)

Dead SA1NT, should I write you in for each weight class?

Do you guys have any suggestions for me?
I would like to start the "draft" in about a week, if we have enough people at that point. So please help me recruit on this board and other sites. Thanks!
