    Maybe this for 218

    Holloway-Edgar
    Ngannou-Reem
    Gaethje-Alvarez
    Pettis-Cejudo

Also Cruz vs Rivera for 219.

is anyone even watching TUF Alvarez vs. Gaethje?

These women flyweights so far are not really impressing me. I been pretty much only watching for Gaethje, which by the way he is a good leader and coach, better then i would have thought. Even Eddie is a decent coach and just very calm. Both are doing nice jobs, but these women are very Meh.

I saw it. It was decent. They are crowning a new champion with it. I really look forward to the Alvarez v Gaethje fight. That should be very exciting.

Also Cruz vs Rivera for 219.
Also Calvillo v Esparza @ UFC 219. Calvillo is moving up the ranks with these fights. You know I love undefeated streaks. I expect her to win against Esparza, but Esparza is a former champion.

Gökhan Saki v Khalil Rountree @ UFC 219. Rountree is a tough test, he once KO'ed Anderson Silva. Rooting for Saki to start his streak but wary here.

Max Holloway v Frankie Edgar @ UFC 218. I favor Holloway here, but Edgar is hard to hit.

Jose Aldo v Ricardo Lamas 2 @ UFC on FOX 26. Jose Aldo hasn't been leg kicking much lately, if he remains elusive he likely wins the rematch.

Eddie Alvarez v Justin Gaethje @ UFC 218. Alvarez is one to be pulled into brawls, that may be a bad idea against Justin Gaethje who thrives in such environments. Both are hittable but Gaethje is less war worn.

Robbie Lawler v RDA @ UFC on FOX 26. RDA generally leg kicks other southpaws, but Lawler may catch them easier than most. Both go forward, but RDA seems to mix it up more.

Carlos Condit v Neil Magny @ UFC 219. I see Condit coming back into form here against Magny who is on the slide. Magny has shown weakness to oblique kicks which are a specialty of Jackson-Wink.

Mike Perry v Santiago Ponzinibbio @ UFC on FOX 26. Ponzinibbio will likely win here. Perry by KO otherwise.

Vitor Belfort v Uriah Hall. Belfort hasn't been like he when he was beating Rockhold, Bisping, and Henderson in a while. Both are coming off a win after a series of losses. Hall should impress here but that is always not given.

          Rumored fights:

CM Punk v Aaron Chalmers (of Geordie Shore) in December in Bellator. Chalmers in his last win was a KO within 30 secs. If CM Punk learnt the lesson from Gall and applies wrestling maybe he can survive.

Cub Swanson v Brian Ortega is another fight that is being discussed. Ortega is undefeated but is going against a favorite.

Cyborg v Holly Holm @ UFC 219. Leaning towards Holm.

They are also targeting Cormier v Oezdemir, date TBD.
I want Cormier to win but he is older and Oezdemir seems to have the magic touch, I am torn who to pick at the moment.

Mark Hunt was removed from his next fight. He isn't very happy about it.

A UFC official said on Wednesday morning: “Following a recent first-person article published by heavyweight Mark Hunt, the UFC has taken the precautionary steps of removing Hunt from a previously announced bout in Sydney, Australia.

“The health-related statements made by Hunt in the article represent the first time UFC was made aware of these claims. “Athlete health and safety is of the utmost importance to the organisation and it would never knowingly schedule an athlete complaining of health issues for a fight. The organisation will require that Hunt undergo further testing and evaluations prior to competing in any future UFC bout.”

This is supposedly what Hunt said in the interview. In other news Ian McAll was granted release from his ufc contract. Cageside seats for ufc 218 are like $250.

UFC FN 118 @ Gdańsk, Poland on now.

Dan Hardy and John Gooden on commentary

                      Prelims:
Emmett drops Arantes repeatedly in this opening fight.
Emmett wins a unanimous decision over Arantes- 30-26

Ladd finishes Länsberg off a TD into mount and lands several right hands in R2.

Alves wins a unanimous decision over Touahri, Alves mostly controlled the clinch and landed counter strikes to Touahri who was looking to jab.

Lobov is dropped late in R1 with a right high kick by Fili. Fili controls R3 with TD.
Fili wins unanimous decision 30-27. Fili is still a prospect with a good team in TAM. Lobov was impressive beating Ishihara who I expected to win, but was chasing too much here.

Emeev wins a unanimous decision 30-27. Emeev controlled the fight with leg kicks and grappling. Alvey was looking to establish the jab but Emeev countered and returned.

Stasiak and Kelleher have a even fight standing, but Kelleher controls grappling more in R1&2. Both have very reflexive technique, impressed by the quality so far. Kelleher stuns Stasiak with a right straight and drops him with a left hook right after, doesn't let him up with the follow up and gets the finish- being finished for the first time. FOTN so far.

Held controlled all 3 round by sticking to his strength in grappling, secured TDs, looked for leg locks, and landed few rights. Haqparast showed good striking but was unable to maintain distance.

                      Main Card:

Pretty impressive this kid just ran through Cowboy. It's his range though...he's very long and just picks at you with precise shots from distance.

Nurmagomedov v Barboza @ UFC 219. If Khabib is in form he may catch the kicks of Barboza otherwise Barboza is too quick on the feet.
