So how about Cain Velasquez comeback fight vs Francis Ngannou? That one has me pretty excited. Not only cuz i'm a giant Cain fan, but this is a great comeback fight for him that can maybe even get him a fight vs Stipe next, which many have been dying to see. He won't be in the title picture until DC retires, but a fight vs Stipe would be great until.

I didn't want to say anything before it was official in case I jinxed it. I think I really like this fight.

I like it too. it's like I was saying with Aspen vs Holm, it's a classic UFC booking.
If either man wins he's back.

I would love to see Cain back, I'd settle for Francis rebounding and realising MMA is more than boxing.

Yh I think it's a really great fight for both guys too, cuz it can put each of them back to the top and at a potential #1 contender spot. Cain beats Francis and I think he'll get Stipe next. Francis beats Cain and he either gets a Stipe rematch or a title fight vs DC. As far as the fight, it's a fun matchup cuz Francis has that KO power and could put Cain out and Cain is the type of fighter that will stand and bang with heavy hitters and can also wrestle. We know what Francis wants to do, but it will be interesting to see what approach Cain takes and if Cain will show up in vintage form, considering the long layoff.

If Cain stands, it won't end well.

I see this as a bad onesided fight either way. Cain is going to destroy Francis on the ground for another terrible loss. Francis is going to destroy a slow, outclassed Cain on the feet.

I don't see how Cain can still be at the same level he was after all the wars and injuries he has had. He may still win because Francis is so bad on the ground, but we will see if he can continue to fight or get injured again.

I think Cain can also maul Francis on the cage.

I expect Cain to look good as ever, unless he lost a little speed and mobility due to aging. That said Francis can ko Cain similar how to JDS did in their first fight

I don't know what to expect, I'm not sure how much Cain really "wants it" anymore.

I firmly believe that Francis and Derrick Lewis are the hardest hitting HW's in the UFC, so yh I wouldn't advise Cain stand with him. Cain needs to wrestle him early, zap some of that energy and wear him down. Cuz even if Cain isn't the same anymore, I still believe an under 100% Cain using a wrestling/grappling based gameplan is good enough to beat Francis. The only way Francis destroys Cain or even wins this fight is if he can stop all the grappling and land something big within the first 2 rounds. Cuz once the pace gets to him and he starts slowing down, he's gonna be toast. Especially if he's facing the mythical creature known as sea lvl Cain.

I didn't see it, that's during my sleepy time.

I read Floyd stopped the kid in the first round, I didn't know they go that hard in exhibition fights.

Horiguchi is a freaking stud. (I haven't seen his recent fight)
