    That's hilarious because around this time last year (I think it was) Overeem was accusing JDS of ****ing him and telling him that his time will come when he has to step in the cage with him.

            Dana is a giant dick. We already know this. He'll lie to anyone and change his stance in a heartbeat to make a dollar. He still shouldn't be doing it to the guys that are draws though.

              Yeah Dana is wilding out recently. The GSP stuff. Now the stuff he said about Gil and Overeem. I wish he would allow Lorenzo and Joe Silva handle the fighter relations/negotiations and he just stick to hyping fights.

                @DaveFarra 48m

                Dana: Alistair is not one of the biggest busts we've ever had. That would be someone I believed in..and Alistair wasn't that.

                  Sometimes I feel Dana White talks a tad bit too much ****. He is one of those what have you done for me lately type of people. I bet he would turn on his mama LOL.

                    Gilbert Melendez has agreed to a deal with Bellator. UFC has the right to match the offer.

                          I already said what I thought about it on twitter, but **** Dana. His stupid mouth gonna make them lose one of the best LW's in the world. Bellator is with a great network and has Viacom's backing. This isn't Strikeforce or Affliction. They are legit competition, even if most of the fighters aren't on the level of the UFC.
                          Me defending Bellator hurts, because Bjorn is 10x worse than Dana is.

                          Rampage wanted to be gone and he was on a losing streak anyway. Kongo wasn't a big "name" and was paid too much on a losing streak as well. I don't have any issue with them not resigning Kongo.

                            That's not really a good comparison. I mean the difference between Gilbert and those other two (at the stage in their careers when they left) is pretty big.

                              I don't know about legit comp other than Viacom can give fighters some leverage when negotiating. They are on their last legs with Spike because of low ratings and the big contracts they gave Rampage and Tito. Even of Gil goes there, they have very little depth at lw. Eddie is going to leave after the next Chandler fight. So that leaves Gil with fights against Chandler, Pitbull and maybe Curran if he moves up.

                              With that said, I'm pissed it even got to this point. If the UFC doesn't match, people have to start seriously questioning Dana's ability to be the face of the UFC.

                                I don't really hold Dana nor Gil guilty for doing what they had to do. Who knows what terms Gilbert was asking for. Gilbert was also ducking Khabib, which is a fight that fans want to see. Again, I don't know what Dana was offering Gilbert, but gun to my head I would say it was more fair than not.

                                Gilbert's hand was forced so he did what he had to do. Props to him for finding a deal, but really wherever he went he was going to get money thrown at him.

                                “@GilbertMelendez won’t be punked by @danawhite if not careful our other guys will be leaving @ufc for@BellatorMMA

                                — Cesar Gracie (@CesarGracieBJJ) February 14, 2014”
                                Cesar acting like his guys are something special, fall back dude. I love the Diaz brothers as much as any fan, but they're both crybabies and one is such a crybaby he retired after getting his *** handed to him. The other brother talks crap on guys who have destroyed him in the recent past. They both are so stubborn and refuse to adapt to the wrestling that has become such a big part of MMA. It's a joke.

                                As much as I love Gilbert too, he doesn't make or break the division. I honestly wouldn't care if he went to Bellator, at least I'd get to see him go up against Chandler and perhaps a few other notable guys.
