So I'm bored and I'm watching old Pride fights, and I decide to watch Chuck vs. Rampage back in 2003.

Anyway, I am relatively new to MMA, just started getting into it three years back.. but I am watching the broadcast and I hear Dana White doing the match in Japan. At first I didn't believe it was him, but then sure enough they said "here with us is UFC president, Dana White".

So I was just wondering, how was this dynamic between the UFC and Pride? I can't imagine White being thrilled that one of his stars was fighting in the tournament. Or was it a big deal, I'm guessing it was like a pageant type of deal, where Dana wanted to prove he had good fighters?

Probably a dumb question but I thought it was funny hearing Dana doing a Pride fight.

At the time Pride was considered the #1 MMA company in the world and the UFC had yet to establish its self as a possible contender. Dana entered into a deal that similar to the one Dream and Strikeforce have right now. Thats why you saw Chuck and Jens Pulver fight in Pride and while Wandy fought in the UFC at Ultimate Brazil.

Aaah I see. Yeah I'm reading up on all of the companies today, and I saw that DREAM and SF had an agreement.. which I had never really thought about since it was announced that Aoki would be fighting on the next SF card.

Interesting stuff.

Anyone know of a good website to buy walkout tees? Never bought one before but I've been itching to get this one for a minute.



Also, $40 is way too much for one of these. Found a website that had this one for about $20 but it was out of stock. Shocker.
