I would love it if he trolled Cormier and just moved up to HW. Cormier wants the rematch sooooooooo bad. Jones has nothing to gain by continuing to fight at LHW. He's the greatest LHW of all time and never lost the belt.

Jones coming back and winning the heavyweight strap would be amazing. Cormier dominated, so I don't see why Jones couldn't have similar success. I just hope my dude can keep his nose clean (literally and figuratively) for a while.

That'd be hilarious, but I imagine if DC takes care of business against Gus, a rematch with Jones will be in the works. That's probably the biggest non-Rousey fight the UFC can put on right now.

I dont know about obliterated though. At 145, Penn wouldve had issues with conditioning and Conor's length and reach. My money wouldve been on Penn but I dont think he would walk through Conor.

Conor gets taken down and submitted quick. Prime BJ had a granite chin and good takedowns. He is/was miles better on the ground.

I just dont think its as easy as you say. Penn has never fought anyone with Conor's size at LW/FW and only beaten one person with more power than Conor (Gomi). Like I said, Penn wins but I dont think its as simple as you put it.

During an appearance on Monday’s edition of “The MMA Hour”, Browne explained that he and Rousey -- both of whom train at Glendale Fighting Club in Los Angeles -- bonded over the summer when Browne was accused of domestic violence by his wife, fitness model Jenna Renee Webb.

“Over the summer, through all the **** that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking,” Browne told host Ariel Helwani. “I’ll say now that we are together. She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. There’s no ‘dating.’ We’re together.”

Although Rousey’s profile continues to grow by the day, Browne, 33, said that he doesn’t view the unbeaten 28-year-old as a superstar, but rather as an extremely dedicated athlete who is also a “sweetheart.”

“I’d gotten to know her through the gym and all that kind of stuff, so I see her for who she is,” said Browne. “The fact that she’s out there winning ESPYs... That’s all great, but that’s not who I know her as. I know her as one of the hardest-working athletes that I’ve ever seen, in this gym, busting her *** on a daily basis.”

Browne was suspended by the UFC in July following the accusations of domestic violence, but the organization reinstated the Hawaiian in August following an investigation, citing “inconclusive evidence.” The 6-foot-7 fighter said today that he has been separated from Webb since May and once again refuted the allegations of domestic violence.

After Browne was reinstated, Webb said that she would press charges against him. However, according to Browne, those charges have yet to materialize.

“That never happened,” stated Browne, who said he has no communication with Webb today. “I don’t feel like it’s going to.”

Yeah, First of, it's really not our business.
But with that being said, this whole thing is very weird to me.
Why would Ronda (from a PR standpoint which she generally is very good at) date a dude accused of domestic violence. It doesn’t make any sense.
I probably should say alleged because it hasn’t gone to trial yet (I think), but there is pictures on his Ex beaten up.
Man, I don’t know but “Hapa” is rubbing me the wrong way.

His wife has never filed charges and it's likely that she went public in order to get leverage in the divorce proceedings. I'm always suspect of people who go to social media before going to the cops.

Also Floyd was convicted of domestic violence and arrested several times. Big difference.

As a guy who has recently been subjected to hearsay, hysteria, rushed judgment, and false accusations at my previous job due to a couple vindictive women's coordinated effort to character assassinate me,(obviously nothing near as serious as domestic abuse, but still), I believe in an American's right to a presumption of innocence. We have no idea what Travis Browne did or didn't do to his ex-wife. If he is guilty, I hope he pays dearly, but I don't know that yet.

The comments in your post about Ronda further support my idea that Ronda is held to a different standard by fans than other fighters are. I don't think anything she said this week was egregious at all.

I wish she would harass people at gyms, run from drug tests, shove referees, go on MMA hour to engage in 90 minute high school drama rants against former coaches/teammates, physically harm pregnant women by crashing her car into there's while high on drugs and/or drunk. If her name was Ron and she was doing the same work in the men's 185 division she would be everyone's favorite.

Just my opinion of course.
