He's done zero grappling in the UFC though. They've got some guys w/ questionable diciplines - marquardt's last fight he did high kicks and superman punches and flying knee's. But he's only boxing in the game.

But Wandy never uses it, so I guess I can see where they're coming from.

He never really uses wrestling either, i mean when is the last time he took someone down? I also find some of the disciplines to be a bit off.

Marquart does kick, i also figured bisping would be kickboxing.

It's funny because I won't use boxing for my first 10 CAP's at least!

I still don't see how losing to Big Nog and Fedor means that Sylvia is no longer a top HW in such a paper thin division as HW, especially in the UFC where they don't even have the top 3 HWs in the world. Nog and Feder were quite a jump in talent in comparsion to who he typically fought and if he was still in the UFC he'd still be in the conversation for top HW.

Then again, I was never impressed with Sylvia, but he's still clearly a Top 8 (at worst) HW.

Sylvia hasn't had a good couple years. An unimpressive decision over Arlovski, an unimpressive decision over Jeff Monson, a 25-minutes thrashing by Couture, an unimpressive decision over Vera, a good showing against Big Nog until being submitted, and a quick finish at the hands of Fedor. That one round against Big Nog was about all he's shown in the past two years in terms of being an elite fighter.

I'd say 8th best HW is about where I'd put him. He's still capable, but it seems like he's on a downward slide.
