I just saw the Best Buy deal and that's the one I am going with. I have 80 fighters out the gate, I can wait 90 days for two more.

What would be a good DVD to get?

Yeah I'm going with the Best Buy deal, really great value there. This is also smart marketing by the UFC. They know that this game is going to get them alot of new fans, so that $10 off PPV and free DVD deal will really help draw in new fans (such as myself) even more. But being a total UFC newb, what would be a good DVD to get? I think the DVD has to be one that is <$15 in value though.

I believe it is for both systems. I don't see why a store would have a deal exclusive to one system only.

I already paid in full at Gamestop. If I cancelled to go for the Best Buy deal would I get my full money back? It just seems like this Best Buy deal is the best out there. It's almost too good to be true.

How does a $10 Pay Per View work anyway? I've never seen a place to enter a code on my tv when ordering a PPV event

Best Buy deal looks great as does the one for FYE (although you gotta do a rebate which i always put off and forget to do). But i prob wont be getting the game till after its out since i dont really have the money to be putting towards a new game right now with my credit card bills & car insurance so i'm assuming the Best Buy deal wouldnt work for me, seems like a preorder thing.

Thanks to the guys that cleared up the 2 extra fighters thing. I was worried i wouldnt have a chance to get these guys if i didnt preorder from gamestop but i can just wait and download them later when they become available.

Hmm, the Best Buy deal is killer for sure... if I can't find it early (like today or tomorrow), I'll just wait and get it there I guess.

Why not just switch your pre-order at Gamestop to another title like FNrd4 or Madden 10 or just anything u been wanting. I mean I am 99% sure they are not going to give you your money back. So just use it for something else you been wanting.

Then just go to BB and pre-order ufc there

Don't they normally keep the $5 but convert it into store credit? Pretty sure that's what happens...

And the Best Buy ad doesn't say anything about pre-ordering... it just seems like you walk in and buy the game and get those bonuses. Maybe not though... I was just going by the print ad.

im hoping thats true because i'm not preordering the game and prob wont get it till maybe the end of the month (got bills, insurance, Dave Matthews Concerts, weed) so i'll get it sometime within a month or so.

Yeah, it just had a little asterisk saying "while supplies last", which probably means that they only have a few PPV coupons at each store... Hopefully they have enough for the first day of buyers, but if the game ends up being big, I wouldn't expect to get the bonuses unless you're early.

It's a good way to get people in without actually giving them anything once the supply runs out.. they'll still buy the game there 99% of the time.

To answer a few of the questions about the Best Buy ad, This does cover both 360 and PS3.

Most if not all stores already have the copies of the game in the warehouse.

You do not have to pre-order the game to get the deal.

If I understand correctly, the $10 ppv coupon is a voucher that you would send in with your cable bill and then applied to the following months' balance.

I know it said a minimum of 10 per store, so i am not sure if they give the voucher to you at checkout or if its packaged in the game. It is not real clear on that.

When you go through checkout the computer will notify the cashier about the special deals so you should not have an issue with getting the gift card and free UFC DVD. The DVD is $15.99 or less. Every regular UFC DVD is priced at $15.99 at Best Buy anyways. (like UFC 80, 81, 82, and so forth)
