What difficulty level will you play on the game?

Maybe I suck, but even on beginner I occasionally get knocked out by the random flash ko of Chuck. The more I play obviously the easier it gets. It seems like on harder difficulties guys like shogun are way more aggressive on their takedowns, subs, and blocking skills. Is there a happy medium that you guys will play out of the 4 difficulty settings or will you go expert in order to prepare for online action.

Expert.

I actually haven't lost in the demo in a while but I'm hoping the variety of the full game will make it more challenging. Also I imagine the earlier stages of career mode when your fighter isn't developed should be a bit tougher although you'll be fighting scrubs

Expert - it's the only one where the CPU can still beat me.

In fact, the other night I got got knocked the **** out in 30 seconds. I circled around a bit, waiting for Liddell to make a move... I saw him going for something, but misread him. Went for a hook, and got nailed with a high kick. Only two attacks in the fight.

Expert, unless the final game has ramped up the difficulty significantly.

Wow KO'ed in 30 seconds. I never had that happen to me so far. Too bad in real life Chuck don't throw a lot of kicks like he use to. Which IMO is why he is on the decline. He became one dimensional.

expert or advanced, depends.

although i'm not sure you can change diff. in career mode.

expert huh? How many fights would you say you guys who are winning on expert have fought to get this good?

also a quick question. What do I do if shogun gets me in full mount and all i can do is punch or take punches from the bottom. I circle the "shine button" but chuck can never get out of it. Am I out of luck if I get into this position?

Try to catch the punch by clicking in the right stick, and then try to transition. Its tuff though. You really have to play a lot. I mean I think I have played the game at least 250 times up to this point.

Its tough to say, but probably Advanced on my first playthrough. I play on advanced and I'm at the point right now with the demo where I can win 95% of the time as Rua against Chuck. I beat him pretty handily and the only times he wins is if he catches we with a flash KO in the 3rd when I get unneccessarily agressive. I can pretty much get a decision or a KO against Chuck anytime I want.

But when I control Chuck, Rua usually gets the best of me. I can't do anything to him once he gets me on the ground. Part of that is Rua is great on the ground and part of it is that I just dont have my ground game up to par.

advanced, its the only way i can lock some subs without first rocking the guy.

Advanced until that becomes too easy.
