I just went home for lunch to play a game. I was trying to get online but, I couldn't find anyone. I wish they had a way to play friends. Anyway, I played an ex match against Matt Serra cpu vs. Matt Hughes me. I finally bumped up the difficulty from beginner. Held my own for a while then I got stupid.

I hit him with a left hook, dazed him and he went down. I went over to do gnp and got caught in an arm bar and before I knew it. I was done. I love how they take advantage of mistakes and being over aggressive. It also tells me I need to get in the practice mode and learn some things.

I wish they had a way to play friends.

I am not sure if you are talking about ranked matches only or not, but you can create a session and set it to private to invite one of you friends. However I only know of this working for unranked matches.

That's what I was looking for. I knew you could get a unranked game with friends but, if you and a friend wanted a ranked game there isn't a way. Not that I have seen. If I'm wrong please let me know.

he was good. Got me on the ground and got a full mount quickly and then pounded me out. I am 2-8 online This is after starting 2-0. Had another win but the guy disconnected.

I dont get why people are surprised by this. The first thing you said when you saw a lv 36 was he might be a cheeser. So if you could play YOUR friends wouldnt that be worse. Then you have guys losing just to rank a friend higher. Sure there are the ones who would fight legit, but to many wont. Which destroys the ranking system anyway. Thats why you have people disconnecting to save their record. Just fight your friend for the sake of fighting. people need to forget all about a ranking system that will get glitched anyway.

Yeah, that's the norm for sports games these days due to people playing their friends to inflate records. I don't know why people keep complaining about that.

As a head to head experience it's great but for those times that I'm playing my career alone I'm a bit disappointed with the production values. It does not in any way detract from the game itself and it all just fluff, but we're talking next Gen consoles now...all of that should be there.

I'm still enjoying the game, it's just a pity.

I'm 3 - 2. The 2 I lost were great matches until I got caught doing some stupid stuff. I actually don't mind when I lose. It just means I played someone better than me and I need more practice.

Played and won my first online match today.

Hureta vs Diaz(me)

The guy was a level nine, but all he did was spam superman and spinning backfist punches. After the first two, I knew what he was going to do on his feet, so I just took him down. Instantly he puts me in a guillotine choke, which I got out easy.

Fight gets back on the feet a few more times, and actually got to the second round after pissing the guy off with all of my take downs. Second round is more of the same with me going for a few subs, but he actually got out of them, so he makes it out of the third round.

Third round, he comes out and takes me down, I put on rubber guard, mount and a ton of punches and hammerfist later and he is a bloody and KTFO.

He couldn't do anything on the ground except a few trans blocks. He kept moving his L stick all over, which was extremely funny. He didn't know what to do once I got the mount, though. He just laid their and took it.

I hope not everyone is so bad on the ground.

Hahaha... man, what is with these dudes? Somewhere a wire got crossed in the cheeser community and they all think that LS will help them get out of bad positions. Hilarious.
