I wish more people went to the ground instead of trying ko everyone. The game really shines when it's a chees match on the ground.

I'm not saying I'm great on the ground but, playing against randoms seems to be the only way they know how to win.

Hahaha... man, what is with these dudes? Somewhere a wire got crossed in the cheeser community and they all think that LS will help them get out of bad positions. Hilarious.

Keep it up guys, you're doing a great job letting me punch the bejesus out of your face while you wriggle around like the lowly worms you are.

Hey, I'm not going to complain. I wish the dude had a mic though, because I would have enjoyed hearing him cussing me out while I caved his face in.

They need to do something about the droppers getting losses.

got the game and am loving it I have only played exhibition so far but I won all 3 of my fights on advanced. my first fight was diego sanchez against somebody last name parisyan I won by guillotine. my second fight was rampage jackson against michael bisping I won by ko. my third fight was brock lesnar against cro cop and i won that one by ko too.

Try pressing different directions on the D-pad (don't touch any other buttons while the taunts happen).

That was the first thing I tried,didn't work.

1) No stamina penalty on strikes- go play a 2 player game ( so you won't get hit ) with liddell versus whoever with the stamina bar showing and throw 10 straight superman/spinning backfist punches. You will see, there is a TEMPORARY stamina penalty ( green bar turns to yellow), and Liddell will go to that tired animation, but after 5 seconds of recuperating, his stamina will go back to 100 percent as if he didn't throw one single punch.

As I learned in the demo in my attempt to get a sub without strikes,if there's no damage done it goes back up really,really,really fast. Once you do one bit of damage it'll go up slower and at the normal rate wich was why I could get the sub with Lidell but not Shogun in the demo. (pulling gaurd doesn't do any damage) Also there's a huge penalty if a big move is countered,like countering a head kick will take off half the meter. If you happen to be playing as someone with good throws (Karo,GSP,Brock etc.) you can counter a head kick,throw them and get an easy sub especially if you can get a transistion in.

Speaking of big counters in the Shogun/Forrest classic fight I caught Shogun's special knee with Forrest's specific kick counter. That looked awesome. Luckily wasn't a KO.

Am I the only person having trouble getting a game online? 360 BTW...

Man this game/series has TON of potential

Oh yea I just got KOed but a knee shoot to the face(not a flyin knee) My stamina was low going into the fight at 58%(yea my bad, right)My game plan was to kept this kickboxer/wrestler on the ground as much as possible, I did just that with no problem but early in the second round Ive shoot for another take down only for my face to me his knee for the win!

AI is good in this game and Im only playing on BEGINNER!!!! I cannot wait to go on expert!

Sometimes it says that no match was found, but then I just create my own and someone ends up joining within a minute or so. Never had a problem getting a game beyond that.

So, it sounds like this is a game more for online than offline?

I'm leaning towards yes. Once you get good on the ground, there really isn't much challenge to be had - the AI just isn't good enough.

It's still fun as hell, but I'd like it to be harder.

I think the game will shine when two people who are evenly matched play online. I'm hoping for some great online matches.

I'm 0 for 4 with Chris Leben against Thales Leites. Once he get's me to the ground, it's over.

BJ Penn, Anderson Silva, Frank Mir, and GSP are the only fighters I've seen in a ranked match. Fights have been pretty good though, not a lot of foolishness.

I do think you need to play with the stamina meter when online though, just to even the playing field. I turned it on to see the difference and noticed that guys always go for a submission attempt when I turned yellow.

THQ did an AMAZING job with this game, major props. But honestly, why did they have to get almost everything right the first time? I cannot put the damn controller down to save my life!
