I seem to be having a problem getting invited to camps unless I'm confused about how this works. Usually before most of my fights I get the opportunity to pick a separate team to come in with each having a fighter and trainer. I always pick a different one. Is this it? It doesn't seem to add any additional attribute points to my fighter, or do anything at all. I was under the impression that you could upgrade from the Boot camp and receive more attribute points for your fighter.

Career mode camps
I've played through one entire career and just started my second and so far I'm liking the career mode for the most part. I think having the fighters age and adding a few more details would make this mode one of the best I've played.I really like the sparring and the setup for how you add attribute points to your fighter.

Re: Career mode camps
After you pick a camp to invite, look for the blue octagons on your calendar. That signifies when you can have the guy come in. You'll also notice that week is glowing green.
When that week comes around, go to 'action' on your calendar menu. That'll take you into the camp where you try and complete tasks to get points to upgrade your technique levels. -

And if you train with one camps a lot, they'll eventually offer you a sponsorship and you can put their logo on your shorts. I had Mike Swick's kickboxing training quite a bit so his camp ended up sponsoring me once I got the MW title.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Career mode camps
Yep, you've gotta train five times with one camp to get the sponsorship.
And once you do, you might as well train with another camp to get their sponsorship. You can get a couple level 5 sponsorships well before you otherwise would.
Also, once you unlock level 3, you can still train that technique up another 150 to fully max it. It gets you a trophy for your case, but more importantly, if gives you a larger percentage bonus to relevant skills. With my boxing fully maxed, I got a 15% increased to standing strikes offense and defense and a bonus to my ground strikings. I was able to use that 15% to take my standing strike defense from an 80 to a 92. That allowed me to get an elite rating for that skill without the insane cost of actually skilling up between 80-92 (where it costs 40+ sparring points to get a single point in the skill).Comment

Re: Career mode camps
Are different camps better at different things? For instance, will a camp that in real life trains a lot of good wrestlers or kickboxers give you more experience/points in the wrestling or kickboxing, respectively, than a camp that doesn't? Or are they all basically the same?Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment
