yea i got in trouble with it as well especially against Rampage or W. Silva. I've reversed them a couple times, broke them a couple time, even got a takedown a couple times... problem is i have no idea how i did it because when i try to do it like a transition, that does nothing (minor or major), it gets frustrating when someone has you in a clinch and is just going to town and theres nothing you can do to escape. I know ratings are a big factor but after losing my first time to Rampage i made sure my clinch defense ratings and clinch offense ratings were high in case i fight him or Silva again and it didnt make too much difference.

    any tips would be helpful

      1. You can either catch the punch or knee that they throw.

      or

      2. Press the right stick in the direction they are swinging you along with holding the left bumper.
