I still don't know how the hell to beat Brock. I mean, stand on your feet and he can get the lucky KO because he has redunkulous power. If you go to the ground, it can be even worse because his ground and pound is a bitch to deal with.

In my career, I had a tough time with Wilson Gouveia, Wanderlei Silva, and Rampage Jackson. Rampage and I would have some absolute WARS though...I wish I could record some of those fights.

I beat Lesnar with a lucky head kick as he threw a punch. If it weren't for that, I don't think my fighter was advanced enough in stats to compete.

Now that I've got to defend the title against Mir, I'm having trouble. That guy is just so slick. He either always takes me down for a submission, or ends up getting me another way. He's even tapped me out as I was trying to finish him off when he fell to the ground.

I to fight the champ of my division, and I kill them in the 1st. I choose my next match and start to train - and I'm getting submitted and KO'd by my freaking training partner.

Bumping this thread up because I was smashing BJ Penn around with all the LW guys, so I decided to try another division...

Decided to play as Silva because it's fun KOing the computer with his unique flying knee. So I pick Martin Kampmann to fight against...

Oops... I got jacked up twice. First one I knocked Kampmann down with a flying knee, jumped on him for some G'n'P, but fell into rubberguard somehow, and got submitted via Triangle.

Ok - fluke, I tell myself.

Rematch goes 3 rounds - with him catching almost every head kick I throw. I get rocked in the first and second - but not finished. Both times I was standing rocked, and managed to avoid being knocked down.

3rd round, he gets me on the ground, and before I can react to get him off, I'm tapping to a knee bar.

He jacked me up twice big time.

Tomorrow I'm going to be looking to kill him.

Of late my weakness has been anyone who uses the muay thai clinch...ugh. How the hell do you get out of it? Occasionally I can counter and get the takedown, but thats pretty rare, most of the time I'm just stuck there at the mercy of the CPU. KenFlos been workin me over cuz he got that long *** reach and can initiate the clinch from outside my kicking range. Any time I'm beatin him silly standing up, he just pulls me into the clinch and goes to town. If I try to clinch, however, most guys get out as soon as I try to whip. What gives?

Yeah thats the beauty of this game, you CAN actually get your a$$ handed to you by the cpu.

What ticks me is I've YET to submit the CPU. No matter who I use.

And I'm decent. I'm playing on Advanced, winning about 60% of the time.

Turn the stamina bar on, mount, block transitions (with a few hammer fists in between) and wait till the bar is empty. Place submission. If you cant lock it in your either not spinning the stick smooth and even or not good at the button mashing.
