Basically, my question is this...what should I watch/whose name should I know if I'm trying to catch up to UFC in 2009. Please limit any and all recommendations to this year only. Thanks!

A great starting point would be UFC 100. That will be probably the biggest UFC card ever with a ton of big names on it. Other than that, the only one I would skip from this year is UFC 97...because that card just sucked the big one. Any of the others would be fine to watch and a pretty good starting point.

thanks, I'm in the process of "procuring" ufc 93-96 and 98. 1up was right, undisputed is a "gateway drug" to ufc.
