How do you get the full mount? I can get through half-guard, get to the mounted position, but I can't posture up. I'm playing on PS3...I know to posture up in the guard you push away from your opponent on the right stick, but I've tried that and it doesnt seem to work. On the other hand, minor transition just seems to get me to side control. This is probably just me sucking at life but help would be appreciated.

k, thanks...seems kinda counter-intuitive to me seems like getting to mount would be the major transition. I mean trying to hold someone down when theyve got you mounted is not easy, I'm speaking from experience here, but hey, I appreciate the help, I might actually be able to do something with GnP nowComment

I personally think that this is a balancing issue...minor transitions can't be countered that easily + it would make escaping full mount even harder as it is now. It's like that you need somewhat more effort to get to full mount. An other point in this is, that making it a minor transition would give you no possibility to go back to side control, unless you would do it a mayor transition which would be even more strikingComment
