    Complete Fighter Ratings

Does anyone have a link to a detailed list of each fighter's attributes?

This would be helpful if I'm looking to emulate a fighter for my CAF career.

I unfortunatley am using an SDTV and am unable to tell them very well from off the screen.

    I'm sure there's a link somewhere...

    Thanks

Ask and it shall be done...

I thank you greatly and seriously, that was faster than Google.

i think lyoto needs a ratings boost for real. he barely gets hit and is a pretty good striker if given the situation.

Machida's ratings are fine. Being elusive is not something that should be ratings based. It's something that's left in the player's hands, as well it should be. You should not be able to pick Machida and have him dodge every strike thrown his way without touching the controller.

Good point i see what your saying. other than flicking the left stick can you duck punches. everytime i fight its either move back or flick the left stick.

Problem with that - Machida's elusiveness is a large, large part of his skill set. As much a part as Liddell's strength and accuracy, as much as Anderson Silva's speed and agility, as much as GSP's superior wrestling and ground control, etc, etc.

Machida is far more evasive than any other fighter, and it's an important part of his game. Not giving him the ability to evade strikes doesn't seem quite right. Why should it be totally in the hands of the player? Because then when it comes down to it, his greatest advantage is taken away.

The fun thing about playing some of the characters is that they have special moves - a certain flying knee, the ability to catch a kick and counter with a punch, a head kick even with the boxing skill... So why not give Machida his biggest tool? Why not give him some special controls to make evading the other player easier? I mean, it's only realistic that they should be able to do so in an easier fashion.

Leaving it up entirely to the player is like taking away GSP's take down ability - just lower it to 0 and leave it entirely up to whether the user can spin the stick 5000 times per second, instead of the rating AND the player interaction with the control.

They gave him ridiculously high defense to make up for it. He's got almost 85 in every defense stat. And for him to have an auto-evade ability would just be dumb, plain and simple. That's taking skill out of the player's hands and would let scrubs who use Machida be able to beat skilled players at the game with ease.

Who said it had to be an auto-evade? Just adding special evades that are more effective would suffice. By saying it's up to the player to evade, it completely takes away that advantage he has specifically as a fighter, since most players evade equally with no matter who they're playing with.

Exactly - I never said anything about auto-evade. In fact, I believe I said special controls for evasive maneuvers. There's nothing automatic about that - it still leaves it in the player's hands to be able to use them.
