Echoing what someone else said, Goldberg was ridiculous in the main event over-hyping (even for his standards) any little thing Shogun did.
I had the fight a solid 48-47 Rua. He obviously landed more shots and weakened/slowed Machida with the leg kicks, but the problem is that he never had him in immediate danger and we all know trying to outpoint the champ is risky business. I'm trying to understand the judges reasoning and I think to them Machida scored major points in the early rounds by getting the better of Shogun during the few flurries they got into.
I'd like to see a rematch because its justified for Shogun's sake, but at the same time, that was extremely painful to watch punch, counter kick, back away, size each other up for 30 seconds, rinse & repeat.

I've been looking around and everyone has the opposite, even people that have it 4-1 Shogun gave Machida 3. Maybe I got confused somewhere and am remembering wrong.
Even switching them I'd still have it 3-2 Machida.
