    UFC: Undisputed 2010 Wishlist

Since it has been confirmed that there will be another Undisputed released most likely next year, I figured a wishlist thread was in order. Even though the game has only been out a few weeks, most of us have played it to death when you consider both demo/retail version.

There are a couple other threads where people are posting things they'd like to see in the next game so hopefully this can be a thread where all ideas go. Mods, feel free to edit, merge, sticky or lock this thread as you see fit.

Here are some of my ideas right now.

    1) Online Career Mode (basically online leagues with CAFs and a title belt)

·Think career mode just as it is now, only with 25 custom fighters. This would be pretty easy to pull off and very fun. There would be no need for a "schedule" persay, fighters within general ranks of each other could fight whenever. Then, maybe once every week - 2 weeks, the commissioner of the league could set up "pay-per-view" events. He would manage the card, setting up title fights and whatnot. Going even further, perhaps have champions from different leagues that are in the same weightclass square off to "unify" titles across different leagues. I think something like this is a MUST for the next undisputed as this game is just set up perfectly for leagues and online play.

    2) Ability to change weightclasses in career, hold/defend multiple belts

·This would add a lot to offline career mode. Tired of dominating in one division or think your fighter would be better served moving up/down a class?

    3) Cage Interaction

·I think this is a no brainer, although I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement. I'm sure THQ will do something in this area.

    4) Playable training games (for speed, strength and cardio)

·I like the train of thought with the sparring sessions, but lets take it a step further. A button mashing game for speed training. Have us rotate the stick ala submission moves to work on our cardio. Anything that makes career mode more involved is a plus, imo. Doesn't neccessarily have to be button mashing games. Could be timing, or whatever.

    5) Replay Mode/Uploadable and Downloadable custom highlight reels.

·The ability to save great knockouts, clips from great fights (offline and online) would be great. Allow us to edit them and upload to XBL.

    6) More nicknames and recorded commentary for custom fighters

    · For there only to be 10 nicknames is just pathetic. Give us at least 30-40 nicknames. How about recording 100 or so general names like Michael, Scott, James, Smith, Thomas, Williams etc. This way custom fighters won't feel as generic. THQ is gonna make a ton of cash off this game, theres no excuse not to record more commentary.

    7) Ring entrances with custom music

·Really not neccessary, but this combined with #6 would really shoot the already good presentation to another stratosphere. There is nothing better to get you pumped to fight than coming out to your favorite song.

    Re: UFC: Undisputed 2010 Wishlist

I would like to see more signature movements such as:
punches ,kicks, stances, moves, slams. things such as that would help the game so each fighter is trully diffrent.
Also i would like to see more fighting styles and the ability to have more than one striking or grappling style.
I wouldnt mind seeing a new submission system so they can be pulled off quicker and are based more on ratings and timing.
I wouldnt mind seeing along with the things that were suggested above in the game next year, this would really make this game a perfect 10.

      Re: UFC: Undisputed 2010 Wishlist

I'd like to see fighters age, although that may be tricky since a lot of the real guys might retire by the time a created guy is hitting his peak.

      - Ability to change player's body type as the career progresses. I made my guy not have a totally ripped body thinking that as he progressed and got better (ie his speed/strength/cardio improving), I could make him look like he was getting better. No luck, my guy looked average throughout his whole career.

      - Ability to customize the banner behind the fighter, instead of just having a big flag.

the tattoos are terrible in this game. The flags look ridiculous on a fighter's body.

If possible, I'd like to see less structured positions and transitions. More just imperfect movement.

Yeah I agree with this one. Rarely if ever do you see a perfectly smooth transition in a real fight. Not sure how they would do this though. Maybe a struggle type animation between transitions?

-How about more recorded first and last names, so that there is at theast a chance that they will call your CAF by name and not always nickname.
-Also, make career mode last at least 10 years if not a little more.
-mini games to increase speed, strength, and cardio would be great.
-make training a daily thing instead of weekly, nobody concentrates on just one thing per week.
-CAF need to be able to go up or down in weightclass. If you lose a few fights in a row, they should drop you down in weight. If you win the belt and defend it a couple of times, they should offer you fights (or let you challenge) the top fighters in the next higher or lower weightclass. In other words if your the Middleweight champ you should be able to go after both the Welterweight and Light Heavyweight belts.

                        - The ability to add your own in-game music, and if they want to keep those UFC post-fight soundbytes, they need to add much more of them. I'm tired of hearing Karo Parysian's dumb *** trying to sing like Borat.

more bjj moves. gogoplata, darce, anaconda, peruvian neck tie...and submission transitions. if you don't have the triangle, go to the arm bar, etc.

                            • Cage interaction
If you move back into the cage, you should be leaning back into the cage. Also, if you shoot a takedown near the wall, there should be a mini-game of slamming the opponent or reversing position.

                            • Knockouts
Less flash knockouts. Flash knockouts rarely happen, maybe once a show, exchange those for more TKOs. Also, when you are on the ground, KOs NEVER happen, more TKOs

                            • Submissions
Make submissions easier for fighters with higher ratings, I.e. Leites, Maia. Also, more submission types. I would like see the heel hook (up/down defense), arm triangle choke (side control), and anaconda choke (sprawl offense).

Great game just less KOs and more TKOs, decisions, and submissions to make the game more realistic.

I think this is in the game. I'm not sure if that is the name of the move, but my MT/BJJ guy can submit while in up/down defense. If your opponent is close enough to you, it is LB+R3.

Haven't been able to get anybody with it yet, though.
