Wow! awesome news, TUF 10 is going to be nutz. I seen Wes Sims fight twice in at local shows. In fact I think the one show he fought twice. I was going to get a pic last time with Sims but fighter not to after I seen him get beatdown my some pudgy old guy on twice on HD net. I did get a pic with Shonie Carter and he was pretty drunk. Wes is kind of a D Bag. Shonie was really nice in person.

I knew Dana wasn't going to line the streets with cupcakes for Kimbo. Make him earn it.

Everybody is saying,UFC needs Kimbo to succeed because it would make money but what people are forgetting is all the smack dana was talking.

I would not be surprise if this dana white way of proving Kimbo does not belong in the UFC basically what he did Junie Browing he keep him around so he could smack around like a ragdoll and if some how makes through it at least he is a big attraction and proven to be a legit fighter now and makes him money.

Dana is prick but a smart prick

It'd be cool if it's true, but I think I'll wait until a more legit source picks it up before I really believe it. At least multiple sources.

Nelson is pretty tough for a fat tub of goo. Still think he got screwed against Arlovski.

I wonder why kimbo is doing this..he must think he can win - because you don't get money for being on the show as far as I know. You only get cash for wins.

Why not do it?? The reward farly outweights the risk. If he wins it all he gets a monster deal with the biggest league in MMA and it capable of being seen on a much larger stage than any other league can offer.

If he fails here at least it was in the biggest league going and he still could get fights in the other promotions looking for a name to put on a card. Granted it would be for less money but he would still be able to get fights. His name isn't going anywhere.

If you have a chance to strike it big with the biggest name in your sport/business you ALWAYS take that chance. Think about it this way. If he went elsewhere and got his *** kicked he would have ZERO chance of getting a shot at the UFC.

Good point, ...I guess it's just I don't see him winning anything, or maybe even getting through a fight. He was KO'd by a jab.

There is no doubt in my mind that Kimbo's management and the UFC already have a deal lined up once the season is over, regardless of how he does. Why would they give him all of this exposure on the show and then let him go at the end because he didn't do good. If they gave guys like Kaplan a contract, Kimbo's definitely getting one. And you can say the same for Sims and Nelson.
