Re: UFC 100
That was real close. I think someone can easily make the case Belcher won, but I think it's hard to say he was robbed.
The third was Belcher's. The first two rounds were interesting, though. In the first, I think Akiyama did the most damage, but him getting put on his *** really muddied the water.
And the second, he got the takedown, but Belcher eventually got back to his feet, and Akiyama didn't do a whole lot outside of a couple short elbows. I thought the most significant part of that round was the leg kicks by Belcher in the final two minutes.
I guess I would have given it 29-28 to Belcher, but I don't have a problem with anyone giving that second round to Akiyama. Regardless, after those first two rounds, it should have been obvious that a decision could have gone either way. Not sure why Goldberg and Rogan were talking in the 3rd as if Belcher was cruising to a victory.Comment

Re: UFC 100
But the only guy in the fight capable of finishing the other on the feet is Hendo, so Bisping's gotta avoid Hendo's power for 15 minutes. That's a tough task.
I agree, though, that's Bisping's path to a victory. I just think it'll be too hard for him to do it while avoiding Hendo's power and avoiding Hendo's grappling.Comment

Re: UFC 100
I actually just lost a little respect for Rogan there. They never say anyone gets robbed even when they do get robbed. So why start that garbage tonight? It was a close fight so that makes what he did even worse in my mind.Comment

Re: UFC 100
Hell yeah Dan. Hendo looks calm and collected as usual. He wants to beat this dudes head in but he's staying focused and put together a nice first round. Mike looks like he's on a sugar rush as usual. Lol @ the takedown attempt.Comment
