I loved Hendo's KO of that *** Bisping. It was probably my favorite part of the night...but Henderson's cheap shot after the KO was BS and worse than anything Lesnar did. It's funny no one talks about that.

Anyway, Lesnar is good for the sport. Fedor vs. Lesnar has to happen. A couple more dominating performances by Lesnar, and the UFC is going to HAVE to stop being hardheaded and bring in the best in the world in Fedor.

That would break MMA ppv records. All of this heel stuff by Lesnar would just add to it....although Fedor will submit Lesnar in the first round

Hey, Brock talked ish pre-fight too. It went both ways.

I don't have as much of a problem with the pre-fight stuff like they did.You want to talk beforehand, go ahead. We'll see what happens once the fight actually starts. And what harm does it really do?

But when Brock got up in Mir's face afterward and flicked off the crowd and pulled that WWF stuff talking about taking the horseshoe out of his butt (whatever that means... lol) and laying on his wife, it's unnecessary and it's bad for the credibility of the sport.

It's got nothing to do with a WWE guy dominating the UFC. I like that someone is so dominant. Like I said in another thread, it's going to be fun to see who Dana White and Joe Silva can put in the octogon to give him a match... other than Fedor (and I'm not even sure about that), I don't know who could.

It's about getting respect and credibility for such a great sport that has gotten a bad wrap in the past. And Brock did nothing but take several HUGE steps back in that respect.

Yes, I'm sure it will get more people watching and will make the UFC more popular. But it wont make the SPORT more popular, and it really tarnishes the reputation when you see a guy out there doing the same stuff they do in fake wrestling, something UFC and MMA has been trying to distance itself from for years.

I hope it does after Brock faces a couple more fighters.

IMO Fay Door is going to destroy Barnett, and after that I really don't see anyone else for Fedor outside of Brock if Brock can beat a few more guys.

Brock at this particular time and place is good for the UFC. It's good that not everyone in the UFC is like him.. as to not turn everyone off to the sport.

In no way does Brock take away the legitimacy of MMA. I don't see that argument at all.

Plus as has been said, the fans were hating on the man first.. I personally loved to see Brock flip off the idiot fans. The wife comment wasn't that bad at all IMO. If he had went on to say I'm going to plow the **** out of her tonight, that'd be another thing.
