    UFC 2010 non-gameplay wishlist + a question

First off, I would like to say 2009 is a good game, but could use some improvements. This is my wishlist for non gameplay issues.

    1. Edit-A-Fighter
This feature would bring a lot of a replay value to the new game by being able to edit a fighter's equipment, ratings, and fighting disciplines.

    2. New Equipment Editor
This feature would be like Fight Night 4's. You can take a fighters shorts and edit everything on the shorts color. For example, you take Tapout shorts edit the base color, stripe color, waistband color, and logo color. This would be fun for people who get board of seeing the same fighters over and over again.

    3. Create-A-Fighter Improvments
First off, add more nicknames, but also load in some last names that we can hear the announcers call. Also, we can make the face look however we want, how about using the same system for legs, arms and torso.

    4.New shorts
    Also more shorts brands:
    • BadBoy
    • Ecko
    • Premier Fighter
Tell me if I missed anything.

    5. Extra Equipment
Why don't any of the real fighters have taped ankles or kneepads. A lot of fighter wear these and they need to be in 2010. Also have the ability to tape knees like Frank Mir.

    Question:
Do you think the will have the Ultimate Fighter 9 winners in the game with the Season 10 winners as DLC like 2009?
    NCAAF: Miami Hurricanes
    NCAAB: Miami Hurricanes
    MLB: Atlanta Braves
    NFL: Atlanta Falcons
    NBA: Atlanta Hawks
MMA: Melvin Guillard, Chael Sonnen, Dan Hardy, & Thiago Silva

I can't see them enabling us to edit fighters in the game. You could never do that in any of THQ's WWE games, and it just seems like a hassle.

With that being said, there's no reason this game shouldn't have updates like EVERY other sports game. After every PPV (which is once a month, I think THQ should be able to handle that) they should release an update with the ability to select different gear for fighters (for ex., the UFC 100 patch would come out this week and when we select, say, GSP, we can pick the black shorts he has in the game now or the red ones he wore last night) and updated ratings. That's not too much to ask for in my opinion.

A PPV option would be great.....

Create your own and an "Actual PPV Card" that would update every PPV.....FREE ADVERTISING FOR THE PPV IN MY MIND!!!

I would have loved to do all the fights in the UFC 100 in a PPV mode instead of taking tons of time in exhibition switching back and forth between menus....

Also, a cool idea would be if it kept your PPV's in a "Vault" so you could go back and see results (maybe highlights) of PPV's past....

(Sorry that this does not fit your "Non Gameplay" format)

        • They need to polish up some little things, such as: "Do you wish to load your player's CAREER?" The word career shouldn't be in all caps.

        • Cut down on the time it takes to navigate through the menus, that really bugs me about this game. And make it to where you can have setting changes not affect every game mode.

        • Custom soundtracks!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope I never hear that stupid Hollywood Undead song ever again.

        • CAF tattoos are terrible. Get better ones.

        • Give us the ability to edit the banner for our CAFs, instead of just making it the flag of his nationality.

        • Have announcers say player's name. It doesn't make sense that the announcers wouldn't say a CAF's name even if you gave him the name of a fighter already in the game. Also add the number of nicknames, and give a player the option of not having to choose a nickname, which ties into the announcers saying CAF's name thing.

        • Make it to where you can have the same city for place of birth and "fighting out of" city, ie: I can have my player be from Riverside, CA but he can't fight from there. I know that's more audio they have to record so this one would be low priority but it would be cool nonetheless.

        • The ability to change a CAF's physique throughout the career, or maybe have the CPU change it for you based on how much you worked on strength/speed/cardio. When I started my first CAF, I gave him an average body with the hopes of making him appear to be more in shape as he improved his attributes and I ended up with a pudgy looking guy all the way through.

I want entrances and post fight interviews. They have the clips and they've shown that they're able to have the lip syncing work so I really hope that they add the interviews.

          More celebrations for your fighter

Have fighters age in career mode

            - Entrances with music. They don't have to be perfect, may after the Tale of the Tape, have the arena go black, song starts, guy walks to and into the ring. CAF entrances with custom music would be an added bonus.

            - Ability to pick and customize CAF banner.

            - Fighter Tshirts

            - Pay Buffer, Goldberg, and Rogan a ton of money to record lots of first and last names.

                multiple careers

created's in career mode as well (if you choose)

more training options (diet, altitude, etc.) all affecting a sort of living bio state that fluctuates slightly.

Maybe an economy that has an actual use for money. (for franchise guys this is what they want) have expenses managers, promoters, sponsors, trainers, clothes, movies, posters, publicist, lawyer, rent/mortgage blah blah blah)

so in the beginning you can't affort to fly away and altitude train at big bear, you have your crappy gym w/ a crappy appartment and no promotion. --- and it gives it more of an rpg feel like mlb power pros and you have more strategy to your calendar.

intended meaning was multiple careers at one time.

while i'm at it, throw in a create-a-camp feature and be able to create a stable of fighters.

I'm not sure what you mean, exactly.

You can have multiple careers saved in the game at any point. So I must not understand what you mean.

Like timmay said, you can. While i havent myself i did have a time where there were 2 fighters to choose from in the career. Just try it out. I did wish i knew this from the start but oh well.

                          to timmay aswell,

When I was reading every scrap of info before the game was released, the developers said you couldn't have more than one career going at one time. That was announced on the official website. If all they meant was you just have to load them seperately than I feel like an idiot.

So, you guys have had 2 or more active careers going at once? Like a LW and a MW for example that you just load when you want to use? I though one must be retired before you can start a new career or that starting a new career will retire your other career.

This confusion is partly do to the worst part of the game which is the terrible menues - asking you to confirm somthing 10 times and loading etc...

I'll try it tonight if I have time, and I guess I can't lose because I just retired someone so I'm not risking losing a lot of work put into one guy.

So if anyone can confirm this:
can you have multiple different CAPS in various stages of their career that you simply have to just load - one at a time, but you can have this for example:

                          X - WW who is 10-2
                          Y - HW who is 5-1
                          Z - MW who is 20-3

? that's possible to switch between them and not affect the others?

I had all 5 weight classes going at once so that when I got bored of one, I just played another; I don't know how many saves you can have, but I had 5 myself.
