Dana white says eventually Fedor will be here
This Fedor thing has gone on and on and on," White said in the post-UFC 100 press conference. "Eventually, Fedor's going to be here. I want Fedor. I want him to come to the UFC and everything else.

Good luck Dana......I don't think it will happen soon....
Thread w/Article explains below:

Key point: Combat Sambo
It is very important to Fedor and the pride for his Country...... -
Re: Dana white says eventually Fedor will be here
The sambo thing is such a minor concern. It won't be the deal breaker. Dana would like the control, but if a reasonable deal came down to whether or not Fedor could compete in some sambo tournaments, Dana would sign off in an instant.
The much, much bigger concern is the length of the deal and the causes for termination. Dana tried having his cake and eating it too by trying to get Fedor to agree to a contract that would extend forever if he was the champ yet could be terminated at any time if he lost. Dana's gonna have to give some ground on that, but he'll still want some way to ensure that Fedor doesn't leave the UFC as the UFC champ.Comment

Yeah, Dana is going to have to do his first guaranteed contract with Fedor and thats when the floodgates will open. Brock, GSP, Rampage will all be looking for guaranteed deals.Comment

Re: Dana white says eventually Fedor will be here
I think they'll both have to bend. Fedor won't get his single contract for millions while still allowing him to fight Sambo and ride motorcycles while sword swallowing. Dana will have to either guarantee or do some sort of signing bonus and you know he doesn't want to do that.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Dana white says eventually Fedor will be here
They will bend. Affliction is going to be close to a goner after the Barnett fight plus Fedor's contract is up after this fight. Dream or the UFC....If I'm him, I take the UFC money and forget Sambo.Comment

Re: Dana white says eventually Fedor will be here
Fedor seems to not really care about making tons of money, he is good friends with Putin and the Russian Government, they even bought him a house that he gave to his parents.....He lives in a humble apartment with his family and seems to be quite religious......He takes great pride in Sambo and I would bet that he would retire from MMA before he would leave Combat Sambo.......
When your #1 Fan is the Prime Minister of Russia, you don't have to worry about much in terms of $$$...Comment

If he's the competator he says he is, he will come to the UFC to try to prove he's the best and take on brock, and maybe a nice bout w/ randy too.
The sambo crap is a joke - he's old enough that he's done it enough to take a couple years off from it.
Many American's favorite sport and national pass-time is baseball, but every one of you would give it up for a couple of years to have a chance to be UFC champ. Of course the UFC doesn't want him potentially injured...they don't want to lose millions of dollars. It's not a lot to ask actually - especially if you're talking to someone who is serious about being the best and leaving a historic legacy.
PS I think he's just too small to beat brock anyway. it's not even fair to fight a gorilla who is cutting like hell to make 265lbs. Fedor is a natural 235 w/ some baby fat. No doubt Fedor is a better martial artist, but he's just not big and strong enough for brock.
It's like having Bruce Lee fight Bisping.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
