    Advice to get better???

Fellows I suck really bad. Love the game but I treat it more like a boxing game than MMA. Any quick advice to help me out? Thanks

That, and lab with someone who knows what they're doing. I'm down to play player matches with people who want help in the game (GT=Stumbleweed85)... I'm especially good at the ground game, but basically know everything about the game enough to help out a newbie. Looking at the move list from each ground position is a good way to get familiar with what you can do from each position with various styles/fighters -- anything marked with a silver UFC badge is a signature move/transition, which might be because of the fighter himself (i.e. Machida's front kick, GSP's axe kick) or because of their disclipine.

The striking game isn't nearly as deep as the ground game, but the clinches can be confusing for a beginner... I'd suggest going through the tutorial completely as well, as it's actually pretty decent.
