Surprised this hasn't been posted already, but there is a WEC show tomorrow night on VS @ 9 PM ET. Jose Aldo is a beast. Time for him to get some gold around his waist.

Mike Brown vs. Jose Aldo (Featherweight Championship)
Manny Gamburyan vs Leonard Garcia
Rob McCullough vs. Karen Darabedyan

Seems odd to schedule a WEC event when they've got TUF running the same night, doesn't it? It's like they're competing with their own company... Doesn't make much sense.

Anyway - tomorrow is my last day of finals and then I'm done with all these damn tests... So it should be a good night to relax and watch it.

Thanks for the heads up Pappy. I'm excited for the Brown-Aldo fight. Brown's won 10 in a row and IIRC Aldo finished some dude in under 10 seconds with a flying knee.

Thanks for picking up my slack Pappy. For some reason I kept thinking it was next week. When I realized it was today I came to post this.

As always, this should be another good card from WEC. The main event is intriguing and could end up fight of the year. These guys both like to bang and both are heavy-handed so it could be a back alley brawl.

Anyone looking to tape this event would be wise to extend the taping by an extra hour.

As always, this should be another good card from WEC. The main event is intriguing and could end up fight of the year. These guys both like to bang and both are heavy-handed so it could be a back alley brawl.

Anyone looking to tape this event would be wise to extend the taping by an extra hour.

I added on the time to my DVR...Looking forward to this, though I may not watch it right away (too much going on in life, games, tv, etc)

Yeah, Cub Swanson. Cub is a good fighter, but Aldo is crazy explosive. I jumped out of my chair when he caught him. Pretty sick how he threw the two knees.

The thing with the Cub fight is it showed almost nothing. I mean, when something like that happens it's almost just a fluke and doesn't say anything about either fight. Should be interesting to see him in a real fight tonight, hopefully.

Thanks for the reminder, I was out of town during the last WEC event and my DVR shut off in the middle of round 2 of the Cerrone-Henderson fight.

cub swanson a top featherweight with a double flying knee combo. he ko'd him with a 2 piece with his knees, thats just sick

I really like how Aldo took his time in this one. He made sure to protect himself from a hook and jumped on him with combos at the right times. He's gonna have the strap for a long time.
