Re: UFC Undisputed 2010 Q&A (Gamespot)
We've added several new modes this year, including a Title and Title Defense mode, as well as a Tournament mode. In addition, our Classic Fights mode will return with some substantial changes. We'll be releasing more info about all of these modes later this year. -

Phobia, yeah, that league last year was tons of fun! Thanks for thinking of me for the camp; I will be in for sure, provided I still have a Gold account
We had some good battles, that is, until you took most of my guys down and GNP'd me to death, lol.
Pappy, I still remember that slugfest we had with Rampage and Houston Alexander. Man, that was a crazy fight that somehow went the distance.
Definitely picking this game up, most likely Day 1. Really hope the AI is improved for offline and that Career Mode is fleshed out, too.
Man, now I'm going to have to pick up 09 again to sharpen my skills.Currently Playing:

Put me down for the camp aswell Phobia, last years league started off well but fizzled out. Hopefully this years UFC can keep us all playing together, if not in tournaments at least sparring in camp.Comment

Haha. I think I took out Boxboy a couple of weeks ago with Houston. I'm not worth a **** on the ground, but if I can keep it on the feet I usually do alright. If you ever hop online in UFC hit me up.Comment

Sounds good Chaos, I am hoping we hear something along the lines of online tournaments or something we can setup. I am not getting my hopes up but I also have a weird feelings something will be done for the online mode to help in this manner.Comment

I like playing people who suck on the ground. I usually mount and beat them until they're rocked - let them up and toy with them; knowing I can end it any time I want with a good shot.Comment

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010 Q&A (Gamespot)
But that is a flaw because Cheick Kongo should not be able to reverse Frank Mir over and over from his back. The game needs to be a little more heavy on ratings and less on stick skill. Even though I see the reasoning behind it, I think it hurts the game.Comment

I love fighting on the ground. The only time I like standing up is w/ someone who has good clinch ratingsOriginally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

I also think UFC is gonna blow EA MMA out of the water with more features, gameplay balance, online. etc. but i think EA MMA will have the better engine since its using FN4's"I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010 Q&A (Gamespot)
Yup. I know I will probably enjoy both games a lot, but EA MMA actually has me more intrigued right now. I love the fluidity of striking with the analog and the engine of FNR4. It's not perfect by any means, but the standup should be really good in that game. As fun as UFC is, the striking leaves a lot to be desired for me. If EA MMA has a decent ground game system, I don't see why it can't be a great alternative.Comment
