MMA Live Coming to ESPN 2

ESPN’s MMA Live will take to the ESPN2 airwaves starting on May 6, reports MMAJunkie.com’s Dann Stupp.

According to Stupp, hosts Jon Anik, Franklin McNeil and Kenny Florian will ring in the debut with a 10:00 p.m. PT timeslot.

An official announcement on the program’s move to television is expected in the coming days.
This has been long overdue as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad to see the show finally get some TV time. It took a lot of baby steps to get ESPN to endorse MMA, but it seems like they're fully on board now. Seeing interviews and highlights from events on Sportscenter is pretty commonplace now. This wasn't the case 2-3 years ago. MMA isn't going anywhere.

Glad to see them finally put it on ESPN. It's probably the best MMA show as I prefer it to the HDNet Fights show.

Yup. All it takes is a sport to show that it has marketability. ESPN is the ultimate bandwagon jumper.

More exposure is always great. This is a great show.

          Best MMA show out there.

ESPN is only airing MMA Live in May. They basically want to see the ratings before they commit to airing more shows.

Great...hopefully this can mean more ESPN coverage over time...will help get more fans into the sport.

I could see years from now having UFC on ESPN once a year maybe.
