Can't believe he quit. I thought he would get KO'd eventually, but I never expected him to just quit like that. Terrible.

I was trying to tell you guys Josh would win.

Four weeks ago he was flying from Tulsa to California to train with Chuck. He has invited a lot of his friends to goto Vegas in two weeks.

Of course he isn't allowed to comment, but from the way he has been going about things, I think he is in the finals.

Yeager was too cocky coming into that fight, and it cost him. Can't believe he quit like that though.

I have gained a lot more respect for Tito through this show. He seems like a real cool low key dude. I hope that he can come back to compete in the UFC.

                Ooops. Sorry.

For someone reason I wasn't believing it. Now that we're down to 4 and Josh is fighting someone he has already beaten, I'm starting to believe.

Dana was like 'titos didn't have much of a reaction' ...he was fighting back from crying during the interview with Dana.

Yager is a great athlete, I'm surprised at how he gassed though, but think it was due to shock more than anything of being dumped on his ***...twice.

which brings me to the next point - the judge said he won round 1!? He was knocked down once...actually I think maybe twice. He was more aggressive, but IMO knockdowns trump takedowns or clean wobble-inducing shots (josh made him do that too).
I wanted a 3rd too, but Jager didn't do enough to deserve it imo.

Jager was DEMOLISHED emotionally after that.

Ha ha ha, good bye Yeager. He probably lost any shot he had by quitting.

Yeager won the first just because he landed all the leg kicks and was controlling the ring and the round. He could have lost it, because he got rocked, but Josh just didn't go forward enough and punch.

Yeah, while watching this season and listening to some of Dana's interviews, I definitely thought Yeager had a future (or at least a couple of fights) in the UFC even if he didn't win this season. After last night, not so much. Dana hates quitters.

I think it is silly that they pulled Tito off the show with like a week to go. Why couldn't he coach the semifinal fight?

It's funny that they bring in Franklin, seeing as how he and Hughes both coached Season 2 and didn't fight each other at the end. Dana originally wanted the 2 to fight but since they were friends, they nixed the idea and were matched up with new opponents, and still allowed to coach.

I think Liddell has come off looking horrible in this show, btw. Acting all mad b/c Tito pulled out of the fight for a legitimate reason is poor sportsmanship. I get if you don't like the guy's personality, but if he's dealing with a major injury (and by all accounts he was or else Dana wouldn't have sent him to CA for a second opinion and the surgery wouldn't have taken place unless an actual injury was there), then you need to cut the guy some slack.

Chuck has a right to be pissed because Tito should have never taken the fight in the first place if he knew he wasn't 100%.

That is true, but really, when are fighters at 100 percent? I don't think Tito knew how bad the injury was until he finally got checked out by a doctor.

It's like guys in the WWE that went through the neck fusion; they worked for a long time with the injury until finally it got to the point they couldn't deal with the pain anymore. Perhaps Tito thought things would get better, or no worse, and that he could soldier on and fight Chuck?

No I think Tito knew. He said something about it when he was talking about the Forrest fight last episode.

I don't blame Tito for pulling out, because he mentioned it's possible he could get paralyzed with that injury so there's no point in messing around with that. But at the same time he should have never taken the fight if he knew all this would've been a possibility.

Or, the UFC could've just let Tito coach anyway, with the understanding that he wouldn't fight Chuck right away. Just say: 'Tito is going to coach but is injured and will need surgery, so he won't be fighting Chuck at the end of the show, but will fight him once he is medically cleared.'

That would've allowed Ortiz to keep a TV presence and still get Liddell back on TV, all the while building up to an eventual fight between the 2. It's not like the UFC hasn't had to postpone fights with TUF coaches before.
