It's weird being in a bar at 10 am, but good show so far. Wanted to see grove pull it off though

I hear you, the fights started at 7am here and the closest bar to my hotel was standing room only. So, I decided to go back up to my room and watch it on sopcast.

Good God, Hughes is content to do nothing but throw leg kicks and Renzo is content to throw nothing but jabs. This has been a really SLOW fight so far with next to nothing happening.

I dont ever want to see Renzo fight again, he needs to stick to training other fighters and be done. That was such an embarrassming fight, how do you keep eating leg kicks without even a thought of checking them? No takedowns even though your stand up is average at best? His stand up was so piss poor he actually made Hughes look like a boxer out there, pathetic.

Almost forgot, like someone above mentioned, how the hell do you ask for help up from your opponent? Ive never seen that happen before and I still cant believe it.

I don't think he really wanted to take him down. I think that was obvious when he dropped him and let him back up over and over. He just used the clinch to try to wear him down and get some shots in.
