When is the demo coming out????

-As soon as we have an exact day time, we will let you know. Right now, we are sticking to our last message, which is "Most likely later this week."

Because we want to make 100% sure that we're giving you the right info about the demo release. We should be able to confirm the exact date time details for everyone by end-of-day tomorrow (Tuesday PST).

How will the key giveaway work?

-We'll post a more detailed walkthrough soon, but here are the basics. We've built a system into the new Community Rewards section that lets us give away unique digital keys. Once the Demo Keys are live, we'll have a page on the site describing exactly what you need to do to get your key.

How many demo keys will I be able to get?

Only one key per community member. If you have both Xbox 360 and PS3, you'll have to pick one.

Yes keys for the demo on Thursday. The official demo is probably coming first week of May.

Yeah they updated it. That is the only way this makes sense. If they release both on the 29th, they would be killed on their website for it.

Nevermind, I just caught that. In the thread itself it says demo will be out Thursday. I guess once they have it up on both XBL and PSN then they'll activate the demo keys..

I couldn't even sign in to change that stuff. It said my e-mail was already registered when I tried to sign up and it wouldn't let me get a new password. Of course trying to sign up with an old e-mail resulted in not getting the confirmation one. I don't even remember signing up.

Next you'll have to stand on your heads and sing "Pants on the Ground" in Portuguese to buy the game without a pre-order.

Used my Gmail and finally got an invite... the site is still mad wonky, but it appears to work, as I was able to set my location and other profile information. Hopefully I'll be jamming on this demo later this week, can't wait to fire up my 360 for the first time in a while.

It was a joke at the expense of all the should be unnecessary hoops to jump through to actually get everything for this game that has now continued with the demo.

4 fighters from Gamestop that people without a Gamestop would probably have to pay $8 for,3 more fighters only for the PS3 with 5 more ulitmate fights,sign up for the site to get the demo...

the way it's worded makes it seem like they are doing that.

Once a demo is 'up' on xbl, you can download it. They really worded this in a bad way..they are making it seem like you get it a few hours before others. If that is the case; that's so shifty of them. I'm a very laid back guy, but I think that's pretty sleazy of them to hype an 'early access' if it's the same day.

Other than that though, the site looks good for setting up tournaments and so on, so it's not like it's a total mistake to join.

I hope I'm wrong though and you guys read it correctly. IMO I think most people if they were in charge of writing that press release would have said the following:

"EARLY ACCESS DEMO FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS WILL BE AVAILABLE APRIL 29 2010. WORLDWIDE RELEASE OF THE DEMO WILL FOLLOW MAY 6 2010"

To me it's bad to confuse people.

Is there a way to specify if you have a 360 or PS3? I saw that you can link your Live or PSN ID's but it's not functioning right now.
I'm hoping that's where we have to do it and it'll be up and running before Thursday.

I'm going to guess when you go to download a code they will ask for what system. That is why they asked for your location so they know what type of code like PAL or NTSC to give.
