Not as good as Versus 1 but still pretty good for a free card. I was hoping to see Rumble Johnson vs Howard but the matchup with Ellenberger should be fun to watch.

I like how this card rounded out. It has a few legends (vlad, fireball) some UFC gatekeepers and a ton of prospects. I think that johnson vs riddle fight will end up being the best fight.. too bad it didn't make the cut and yushin okami (bleh) did.

Maybe I'm alone but I like the way they are building him up. Have him headline 2 live TV UFC events. After this fight, I think he could co-main event a ppv against a T. Silva or a Couture. Keep in mind, we arent even a year away from his breakout fight against Bonner. He's still a young fighter. Lets not rush him.

i totally agree with you. Jones is only 22 or 23. Give him a few more years and a few more fights before a title shot....i would think fighters peak between 26-30

Stevenson is injured and Tyson Griffin has taken his spot.

If Gomi looks horrible, I think he's probably going to get cut even though he was a big signing by White.

Not a big loss. Stevenson is THE most overrated lightweight in the UFC.

Not only is it not a loss but its a huge gain IMO. Like you say Joe Daddy is very overrated and Tyson always puts on great fights.
