Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Video: Career Mode Tutorial - Extended Cut

I am loving the jump in the career mode from last year to this year. WFA to start out, stat decay, changing weight classes, adaptive AI of your opponents trying to exploit your weakness, and Gold and Rog using dynamic commentary...sounds great.

You know, the demo kinda put me off to this game, but watching this just sucked me back in.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Holy smokes, I think I will actually play the career mode this year. Last year I got bored with the career mode VERY fast. I like how you don' start in the UFC and have to work your way up and if you lose too many in a row you get demoted to the smaller league.

And I like the stats decay and adaptive AI. Will keep the career mode from becoming repititive and boring.

I'd like the choice to be able to take over a UFC fighters career instead of always making new ones, maybe next year.

Would love that option as well....Would give me a chance to take a lesser known Real fighter and give him a shot.

Hope the CAF look as good as the real fighters.....CAF always look 'off" a little bit. But UFC09 was pretty good...

I would like this, as well. I'd love to take someone like Chris Lytle (one of my favorite fighter's) and have him work his way up the rank's. Hopefully, it will be in at some point.

That's what Title Mode is for.

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Video: Career Mode Tutorial - Extended Cut

I just noticed there is a lot more media around the web.

gametrailers has 4 new vids, on that features career mode, online features and one that features training within

ign also has a career mode article the beginning states:

"After playing several hours of UFC Undisputed 2010's career mode, I can tell you one thing: I'm impressed."

just a heads up...didn't think we needed new threads for each item.

Re: UFC 2010 Undisputed Video: Career Mode Tutorial - Extended Cut

These television-like broadcasts are setup pretty much exactly like the real shows. They start with the live action footage of a guy dressed as a gladiator rubbing dirt on his hands, there's a pan of the stadium, and then the camera cuts to the announcers talking about the upcoming night. If you want, you can watch the CPU/CPU fights or skip right to your bout. And, yes, if you're the main event, you and your opponent will open the show in a produced intro talking about what that night means to you.

                  EASports...Take note!!!!!

anyway, hopefully the AI is smarter, tactical and less aggressive in the retail version....
