UFC 2010 Analog only Submission Game
What's the deal with the analog stick only for submissions. In 2009 you could tap the face buttons to perform/get out of a submission. They took this feature out of the 2010 game for what reason? I don't know how anyone can rotate the anaolg sticks fast enough to win the submission battle. Just want to gauge others reponses.Tags: None -

i think more people were using than you think. it's a good idea they removed it and it's not about speed, it's about clean shines.__________________________________________

Can u verify that? I know the developers said it's about clean shines earlier, but from my experience it doesn't work lke that!Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Analog only Submission Game
I have to say that I disagree with you on that. Phobia does slow clean shines and I do fast shines. I made him tap rather quickly - also at my gamestop I saw it first hand....Brock tapped out Nog in the first 30 seconds - the reason? Because at gamestop they have the controllers on this stable little thing where the controllers are placed on. Both guys were shining and the guy with Brock was going wild shaking the whole display thing and the other guy was going fast but not fast enough and well Brock tapped Nog.Comment

Re: UFC 2010 Analog only Submission Game
Honestly, this is probably the biggest reason why I'm not getting the game this year. I absolutely hate "the shine" (who came up with that name, anyway?).
It's just not natural; I don't like having to flip my controller and perform these crazy circles with the R-stick. I never seem to either perform the circles correctly or quickly enough as I hardly ever get a sub or struggle to escape (this is playing the 10 demo).
I liked having the buttons as an alternative last year. No reason to take them out, imo.Currently Playing:

Re: UFC 2010 Analog only Submission Game
Anybody have info about when and how long to hold R3 and when to start shining? I just feel like my timing is off...I feel like im rotating the right stick clean and at a decent pace...do i need to speed it up or is that like trying to rush through a submission? Should i be more patient with the shine?Comment
