UFC 2010 important question

My freind has a fighter in LHW division and moved up to heavyweight in the game but then that kinda broke his game and he got stuck in a weird glitch that made him fight rampage over and over and over tfor the rest of his career after going back down to LHW...career mode is getting repetitive and i wanna fight a heavyweight but im worried my game would mess up...HAS Anybodys game messed up after going up in a weight class?

That shouldnt happen to you, but this game is very glitched. It makes me sad becuase i do like the game, but the stupid developers were very lazy on coding the stupid game.
