This is a joke, come on THQ....Im in career mode and this bum gets me into my guard and mounts me in the first 45secs every time i fight him and ground n pounds me until i submit or get KO'd. I never was one to say that this game needed to be fixed ASAP, but this is getting to be kind of funny. While i can have fun in some modes with this game, I really think UFC needs to drop THQ as their video game developer...Unless they want to be EA's biiiioootch, and I refuse to buy MMA with the roster that they have (don't like Strikeforce one bit)

Block his take downs? Reverse his transitions? Get him off before he transitions? Hold in in your guard with the block? Take him down first?

Trust me i've done it all...Its like in career mode the AI on the game automatically makes the fighter in one of your fights DOMINATE for one fight(I've noticed after Tito Ortiz did the same thing when I had made a LHW).

lol I know right, I mean i could understand if it were someone line The Spider kicking my ace, but I don't even think this guy should be fighting Silva for the title in the first place....Silva is just going to do what he did to Maia, Griffin, Irvin, ect. ect. Nobody in the Middleweight division stands a chance against this guy...IF Dana White wants him to stop playing around the stop putting him in the octagon vs. completion that he just eats up IMO....Comment

I assume you mean Shogun. Anderson Silva is good, but not that good. I 99.99999999999% doubt any fighter can take on 2 people at once in the octagon. Also, as MC said, you have tons of options. The only time anyone with decent stick skills should lose would probably be by submission in career mode and that still doesn't happen often. It's not hard at all to dominate the AI on the ground or in standup. I suggest keep playing the game and work on reversing transitions, or you can just be like some lame people online who flick it nonstop.Comment

It makes it difficult in career mode when you are only a 30ovr after 8 fights and are fighting top 5 fighters in the division, unless you are playing the game on beginner then i could see doing reversals and all that, but when you are playing on expert the CPU AI for that one #1 contender fight is fixed to where it is almost somewhat impossible, anyone who says its not then I have to disagree as i've seen this happen in almost every weight class ive fought in. Im not saying every fight has this problem, just the ONE fight you have to fight in before the title shot....IDK but UFC needs to drop THQ.Comment

Is your takedown defense at least 70 because that is bare minimum if you want to stop Chael and his 84 ranked TD offense from taking down over and over.
That is only good for around one round or you don't burn alot of stamina in that round.
I am going to bet your takedown defense is some where between 30-50Comment
