It's funny as hell (and somewhat sad) seeing all the "I'm selling" post start to pile up in here. lol

Its because we wait for a patch to fix the issues we explained to them in the damn EARLY-DEMO yet they blow it off and said that it was not a issue. Then when they acknowledge the issues they don't fix them in the patch. Hell I am not waiting 6 months or more just HOPING they fix it. Screw that, I have a fine working game in 09. Not all the good things 10 has but it is the far better game across the board.

I'm going to hang on to it I think, only to play against friends head to head. Pretty sad to see that it's come to this especially after all the hype this game got, I really thought it would deliver on all fronts. If you guys wanna do a camp for 09 I'll probably pick a copy up, I'm sure I can get a used one for super cheap.

I'm keeping mine, I still have fun playing online, and fully expect there to be another patch in the coming months to compete with EA MMA.

The auto-takedown's gone, yee haw. I'm keeping it. Meh, what's $25 for a game that I will still play from time to time online? Maybe they'll issue another patch, who the hell knows. I have fun with it, the system is stupid in lots of ways, but most of it just leftover from last year's same stupid systems (submissions, reversals, lack of impact in different ratings). The auto-takedown was my main annoyance playing people online really, just because then it could always turn into a stupid flicka-flicka reversal war, but honestly I've only had that happen a few times lately. Been having standup wars that lasted into later rounds and even went to decision, some ground slogs where it keeps getting stood up (annoying, but Fitch-esque), technical grappling matches... pretty fun for me still despite the flaws.

Yeah, this ones going back so I can pick up Transformers. I strictly played this online and since the KO's and ground game haven't been fixed I can't play it anymore. Getting rid of the auto takedowns are nice, but there is still way too many other problems that make it near unplayable.

I got $33 store credit for it, but 2009 was about $22 and change. I also threw in the strategy guide for $6 and change. I swear I was ripped off (lol), but didn't care b/c I didn't have to come out of pocket for 2010. So I really lost nothing but the good time I was having w/ 2009, and actually gained something.....frustration w/ 2010

Only thing going back to 09 I am going to struggle with is the clinch game is worse. But it is a small price to pay for a better striking system, better ground game, better stamina system, better submission chances, and better KO rate(but could be higher).

Yea I'm going to miss the clinch game and cage interaction. But F it, I miss my ground game!

09, issues aside, is a much much better game overall by a HUGE margin. Chalk up UFC10 as one of my biggest gaming letdowns in quite some time...Sure i am not alone on that.

Dude where did you go to get $33.00 store credit for it? My local GS is only talking $21.00. Did I miss out on the mad UFC 2010 trade-in rush?

I am right with you Saint. UFC 2010 was my most anticipated title of the year and I NEVER expected it to turn out this bad. If you told me they would ruin a great formula from 09 I would of laughed and said yeaaaa riiight.

All I know is UFC 2010 was a complete disaster. If I was Dana White, I would be down at THQ right now chewing some *** out. Then take my money and go to a different company because obviously THQ does not listen to what the fans want. They "THINK" the fans want a arcade/sim game. But the trade in amounts clearly show the vast amount of people are highly upset with their direction the stellar 09 version to 10 version.
