Is there going to be a 2nd patch for UFC Undisputed 2010?

The graphics and presentation are great but with all of the flash KO's, the novelty is wearing off and I don't find myself playing the game much more.

If THQ would come out with a 2nd patch that would tweak a few things it might make the game a lot better.

As it is, I am seriously considering selling this on EBAY.

I also don't like the use of the right analog stick to do submissions.

I doubt it. There was only one last year and they dont seem to think the Flash KOs are a problem.

Exactly, i quit playing 3 weeks ago because they dont care about customer complaints. It stopped being fun for me, and i was just playing college hoops 2k8 and ac2 and havent played it since.

Yeah I would not count on there being another patch. I don`t know maybe it is just me but this game might end up being one of the most disappointing games of the year for me.

According to THQ TANK, a 2nd patch isn't out of the question:

"Myself and the dev team are fully aware of the non-online issues being reported by many in extensive threads. The recent focus on online issues since launch has not detracted our focus from other important issues that could use tuning or a fix. While I can't confirm any specific timeline or work on a 2nd patch, there is a current effort, and I am ensuring the dev team is aware of the most critical issues."

Well got to the point now, NCAA 11 is out and Madden is only a few weeks away. And to my surprise NCAA 11 is a ton of FUN. UFC 2010 made a HUGE CANNON BALL type of splash, but then quickly drowned in it's own hype.

Kind of sad considering they had so many cool new stuff going for them, but the execution of the new stuff messed it all up.

For those of you that still have it, I encourage you to hold onto it. No it didn't live up to the hype, but if you don't play it with those expectations there is still plenty of fun to be had. I've had the game since really release and I've really enjoyed. Sure the CPU get's predictable and the offline play is a bit stale, but if you can find a sim guy that knows what he's doing online then I still think this game is extremely satisfying. And who knows, THQ might surprise all of us with a second patch (although I would bet my life savings they won't haha).

There are more fun games to play than it, granted i like the game, i dont have the patch because it ruins career mode, and i dont play live. I like the event mode a lot though.

Read this, and these are great points for a new ufc game next year
Here are just some of the features I really want next year. Yes I will be buying 2011. Feel free to add your own or respond to my suggestions.
Hopefully THQ Sway will be active and see this, so make sure we keep it popular.

TUF Career Mode:
Many people want it and I am one of those people. I really would like to have it, but having different coaches depending on weight class (or another method, maybe just pick two coaches). TUF would be a fun career mode and if you lose in TUF, then you fight at the finally against another loser. This would be a much slower start to your career, but you would still be able to fight in the UFC.

Possible Manager Mode (Play as Joe Silva maybe):
I don't really need it, but it would be a fun mode I think. Being able to choose who you want somebody to fight and sort of playing through everyone's career.

Two-Step or Three-Step Submissions:
There needs to be a start of a submission where you grab a hold of your opponent to position yourself for the submission and then start cranking to get it. I would really love to see you have to grab your opponent (R3), transition to position yourself and then start to shine. This way you can use it as a sweep from the bottom to stand up. I also want to see this possible from the clinch. Maybe you could hold the wrist for a kimura and if they take you down it automatically skips to step three which is shine (possibility of breaking free instantly too).
Using the cage more:
-Using it to stand up (two separate transitions).
-Using it to hold your opponent on the floor so they can only transition one way.

Better Servers:
Obvious reasons, but if you want more money THQ you need to invest in your own servers.

KO Slams:
Fighters have done it in the UFC and it should be possible in the game. I am not saying when their body damage is really low, but maybe if they slap on a triangle you can slam with a possibility of a KO. It could also be similar to a flash KO, maybe a little higher chance though (or not).

Better Career Mode Interviews:
They were fine this year until you got deeper into career mode. After defending the title you get asked the same three questions over and over again. II really liked this idea, but the repitition was terrible. Change it up some, maybe have Ken Flo do some interviews too.

Press Conferences:
I enjoy watching press conferences, though it isn't a must have, it would be a little fun. I am sure it would repeat itself a lot, so it isn't the best idea.

Better Hit Detection:
This year is slightly better then 2009, but it still isn't even close to pinpoint. I want to see it close enough where Joe can call out that it was on the temple....and it hit on the temple! Hitting the chin with a clean hook should double the chance for a flash KO and double the chance for being rocked.

Much more Realistic Fighter Stats:
I have mentioned this non stop, anyone that isn't in the top 7-8 in that division doesn't have accurate fighter stats. Like Chris Leben, he has a 68 chin rating, but somehow Mike Swick and others have 78+. Mike Swick has been knocked down plenty of times and KOed a few. They really need to sit down and build each fighter as life like as possible.

Longer Win Replays:
This year you can only see the punch that KOs your opponent, or the moment you lock in the submission. You should be able to see yourself starting the submission and finishing your opponent.

Save Fight Video:
This is a must have. So you can save those unbelieveable fights or KOs.

Direct Upload to YouTube:
Not 100% needed, but would help sell the game and would be an awesome feature.

Adding Pride:
This way Japanese rules would be allowed. This is a big deal with the other MMA game coming out this October, so it would be a great counter to it. While fighting in Pride (maybe if you choose to leave the UFC or get knocked out of the UFC) you can have your entrances too.

Contracts:
You should get contracts for 3 fights or 5 fights. Then need to resign or maybe you go fight in Pride for a little while. They could also create other promotions like this year's WFA. You could sign with them for a few fights. If you put on a few real boring fights it affects where your career is and how many fights you have on your contract.

Getting a Title Shot Based on Results:
If you KO your first 5 opponents inside the 1st or 2nd round in the UFC you should earn a title shot. This is true to life.

I had some more ideas, but I can't remember right now. I will add them in later. Let me know what you think though

Yea, they should look at Gerald Harris vs Dave Branch from 116. Most recent sub escape slam ko. Thats both things in one.
THQ's biggest problem is that they really didnt answer any questions of the consumers. The consumers are the biggest ****ING part.

EA MMA has my full attention.

You got a couple of months to wait that sucks. If they have the feature where you can share cafs that will be sick. Then you wouldnt have to make your own cafs.
